  1. I like her smile as usual. For the rest no real opinion since we can hardly see what she is wearing.

    1. She is wearing gloves, but we don't belive in masks in Sweden. We don't go out when we are infected so why wear masks if no one is infected.

Masks don't prevent you from getting infected but they help in preventing you from infecting others. And you can spread the virus even if you don't have any symptoms yet, so that would defend the usage of masks. However, the likelihood of Victoria being infectious probably is quite small. I guess they are very cautious due to Daniel's medical condition, and the risks in these kind of situations are certainly minimized in one way or another. And in order to be effective, masks should be changed every couple of hours, you shouldn't touch them etc. I think masks may be useful in more populated countries and cities, but here in Scandinavia we have quite a lot of space around us even in the cities and in our culture we tend to keep our distance even without corona... :-)

  4. Many people are infected without symptoms. That's why people wear masks.

I've never worn a mask; most people here do not (I am not in Sweden and my country is not crowded). Corona- and H*N*-viruses are everywhere. There will never be a sterile environment. Masks are not good for people with chronic breathing problems. I prefer Doctor Sunshine and Doctor Fresh Air without a mask. To each their own, I guess.

As usual, Victoria is out-and-about and looks happy and engaged. More power to her.

Hard to believe people still find the need to argue- just to be different. What does it even mean ‘we don’t believe in masks’? It’s not a religion one chooses to believe in or not. It’s a civic duty. Hardly an example for any royal or public person not to wear one. We’re passed the Middle Ages now. CH

Well, Sweden it isn't a civic duty.

Minimal effectiveness and not necessary if she is practising decent hygiene and keeping a good distance apart from fellow volunteers. Masks are for when that isn't possible.
