Reducing the spread of infection among people with dementia and people living in homes for elderly was the primary topic. Director-General Olivia Wigzell informed, among other things, that the National Board of Health and Welfare has started a web training for employees and managers of dementia hospitals and care centers and of homes for elderly which is about how hygiene routines should be carried out.

The authority has also purchased and distributed protective equipment and disinfectants to municipalities around Sweden. Medical expert Frida Nobel spoke about the National Board of Health's work to disseminate knowledge and good examples throughout the country.

Q Silvia looks lovely like the color of the cardigan. This is a project close to her heart. Sadly we will see no Birthday celebrations for the Kings Birthday, maybe none for Victoria's Birthday in July. I really hope this Pandemic is over and done with by the time the Nobel Price Ceremony roll's around in Dec. I think this is the most boring Royal Watcher Year. It shows something unseen can be so disruptive in people's life's.

  4. A marvellous organisation, glad to see the Queen keeping in touch. Training for staff and managers is going to help things along tremendously. Well done.
