Thankyou for reaching out to us in Australia. People here don't get the seriousness of it all. Her Majesty looks lovely;the brooch and the colour of the dress. THE ABC IN AUSTRALIA WOULD NOT BROADCAST THE QUEEN'S SPEECH;what an apolitical speech that is to encourage us all to do our bit. THE REPUBLICAN FOOL'S

    1. I found the speech on ABC i-view. Most people are observing the Government guidelines, I would beg to differ. The fools who don't, sadly, grab space on the front pages of our newspapers. Stay safe everyone.

    1. There can never be another Elizabeth II. After she was made, they threw away the mold.
An intelligent woman, a sensitive mother and above all, a remarkable Queen.
Her sober but colourful dress and choice of jewellery are perfect for the occasion.

    1. Respect for the queen yes I agree but the "globe" does not need her . Other countries have royals doing a great job daily.

  10. Her Majesty's speech was one of encouragement and hope. Other monarchs and their families have offered similar messages, but, with her long reign and her experiences during WWII, and other worldwide catastrophes, Queen Elizabeth's words are especially comforting. She looked lovely. Her pearls and turquoise brooch against the backdrop of her green dress are very pretty. She doesn't often wear red lip color. It is a nice change.
