  1. I´ll never understand this cropped length (other than in supercasual contexts). It always ends up looking highwater, especially when combined with heels. This outfit had looked fine with full-length trousers. Or - given the sports context of the event and the fact that she needed to walk on a delicate gym floor, maybe she should have gone for some cute flats, and then the cropped trousers had been ok(ish).

    1. Absolutely agree, Vanessa. Thought these trousers were great in the first few pics till I saw the length. The blouse looks like a really good match with them but the length totally spoils the look in my view.

Maybe you don't have the ankles to pull them off?

    3. Ouch! Thanks for that, Anon 9:32. Actually ankles not the worst part of my anatomy but I'd never choose to wear half mast trousers. My choice just as it is the Queen's choice to wear them! :)

  2. Jolie blouse en soie rentrée dans un pantalon dont je n'aime pas le nœud de la ceinture ; superbes chaussures de couleur camel à gros talon qui semblent plus confortables que des escarpins !

  3. Very few people can pull off the tie around he waist. She looks stunning. Even a crew neck blouse (which I don't happen to love) looks great on her. And her makeup is flawless.

A lot of women have to be careful that pants cut this high don't make you lose some height but even here, it works on her :)

Elegant, minimalist and contemporary. Good to see her supporting women's sports. Something is off about that first picture.

She is one of the very few who can present even a cropped pant (almost) convincingly. Not enough to love cropped pants though - but she looks very polished (as always), the color combination makes it elegant. (Ann.)

I would say just right for a ballgame.

This is a great outfit...if only the pants went to the ankles. Not a fan of these cropped (high-water) pants.

The colours are nice, but the cropped pants and the super arched, high heels gives the look that she's walking on stilts. Not a good look.

I like every item. Since I'm as small as her, I know that those cropped pants with the emphasis on the waist makes us taller and stretches the lower part of the body.
What I especially appreciate is the fact she wears trousers more often, what is appropriate nowadays.
White sneakers would have been even better, but, well, since she's -though very slim- no beanstalk, I can understand her always aiming to gain length.
These no colour ensemble lets her elegantly stick out in a mass of colourfully dressed people.

She is not small at all, she is about 1,70 tall, however her husband is 1,97...a giant.

Oh, I don't know, that's not carved in stone. Even 1,65m might be very charmingly measured :-)

It is the 5th time she's worn these pants and almost 10th that blouse.

  11. She can walk with those shoes in that floor because her heels are wide. You can’t walk on those kind of floors with high and thin heels because it scratches and damaged the wood and it’s obviously not allowed. She looks perfect for this kind of event and her pants are perfect for her. The Queen looks elegant, modern and stylish as always

  12. Letizia looks very stylish, but the shoes are not fit for the occasion, she should have worn sneakers.
