  1. I do not care for the Queen's new blouse. The sleeves remind me of batwings, and the folds at the shoulder create shadows which give the illusion that she is slumping forward. Her skirt and shoes are gorgeous.

That's the most powerful woman in Spain. The President of the Santader Bank.

  5. Good to see Queen Letizia delving in different colors lately, I am not a fan of shiny fabrics, but I think it works on this very unusual blouse, the sleeves are very creative, and it takes this outfit to a different level. The skirt is just Ok, personally I am a little exhausted with animal prints, however the entire ensamble works well.

The blouse follows the silhouette of the body in the middle part and departs from it completely when it comes to the arms. Somehow it clashes, for me the arms-and-shoulders part is a kind of deformation, disturbing. Anyway, I don't like it.

The color of the blouse is nice and rich, but the style is a bit off.

I applaud Letizia for wanting to add some color, but I think the fabric and large sleeves may not have been the best choice. I do love this skirt. She has always looked quite chic in it.

  10. Like this gorgeous bright blouse with the unusual sleeves--reminds me of the big sleeves of the late 70s/early 80s and the paring with the print skirt is spot on. Personally, I prefer this Zara top to the vastly more expensive coppery coloured blouse worn by Queen Rania yesterday.

  11. Her sleeves look odd. Other than that a fine outfit.

Don't like the style and combination of colors of skirt with blouse.

  13. She looks lovely but since we talk clothes here, I'm not a fan of that blouse (gorgeous color, don't love the sleeves), and I am not a fan of animal prints on anything larger than a shoe. Though I think she pulls it off and in no way it this overdone. Just my opinion.

  14. El naranja es un color difícil, pero Letizia lo combina bien con la falda blanca/negra.
Las mangas no me acaban de convencer, así que lo dejaré en que son muy originales. :))

The Queen has become more daring with color, but the design idea of the sleeves is not very successful. The back as seen on the model is not flattering. reminiscent of those outfits designed by Bob Mackie for Joan Collins in the early '80's.
On another note, ...another day of prize giving, and many of the same faces in the crowd. They need more initiatives that connect with the average citizen (see Sophie's glasses event last week).

That blouse should have stayed in the ZARA test atelier. When you don’t have proper tailors, you don’t get adventurous with cuts that you cannot master. The results are quite terrible. They should stick to their simple, straightforward cuts, which they do well and bring in lots of profit.

Otherwise, like the other folks said, it’s an okay outfit, nothing to write home about.
