  1. Wow -- I love this outfit, which is shown to advantage on a tall, statuesque lady like Maxima. She wears it well.

    1. But where's the hat? Did she get a royal exemption to be hatless. My hat goes off to her for the work she is doing. So now that makes two of us hatless ......no?

the outfit is more appropriate than the one when she visited the nursery. However, a video chat would have been equally as effective, and much safer.

Sitting her purse on the floor, a huge NO NO... Where all sorts of people walk, all sorts of germs are found, then she picks it up, sets it on her lap, or in the floor of her car, and when she gets back to her home, where is it set down and what germs are being carried from place to place. Sad but we have to think of these things during this time frame in history.

YES, Anoniempje...REALLY!! Speaking from a health care family, the germs she brought back from her purse are more numerous than you could count. So totally obnoxious, ill-informed, and downright stupid to say "get a life". If anyone including you wants a life after all this, you had better pay attention to common sense.

I don't think she's out of line either. Many healthcare experts have been telling people to leave their shoes outside for the very same reason. Until we get a very clear, firm handle, how COVID-19 is spread no amount of caution is too much.

Anoniempje, I think it was great observation. Living in this time frame in history, one HAS to think of where germs reside, how to be careful, and take great care to not infect others, including ones house-staff or family.

I’m pretty sure all royals have hand sanitizer and tissues in their cars what with all the handshaking they normally do, so she could easily wipe her handbag and shoes clean before she gets home.

Hahaha, I totally dislike the outfit, find the fabric of blouse and trousers spring like, while the boots and cape too winter. Her hair usual horrendous favorite style, but I do like the purse.
Wonder what Cherry Blossom has to say, always so respectful and eloquent about startorial chooses of the royals
Hope you all are well and calm

  9. The Queen looks lovely in this outfit. Perfect for her tall frame, she wears it splendidly. I love the cape, it is superb. The support the Queen giving organisations such as this and business is marvellous. Red Cross all over the world do incredible work, not just the paid workers but the volunteers as well. I am sure her visit would have been uplifting and morale boosting. She has done incredibly well all the while the world is in turmoil.

Not such a cape over the trouser/ skirt: their lengths are conflicting for me. Without the cape it seems a nice combination.

Very essential visit to support volunteers under these circumstances. Cape-coat lovely. Wrong blouse, should have been nice cashmere sweater. And die me sorry no culottes ever

  12. Koningin Maxima is 'n pragtige vrou.
