It is nice to want to help, but sometimes helping means staying away to remain healthy, and to help the daily workers remain healthy.

Nice to help and show concern, but this is the kind of close activity I'd avoid. Just my thought.

    1. Being the future Queen, I'm sure she goes to places where those individuals are already tested for the virus.

Being a Swede I'm not so sure about that. Uptil now we havn't tested others than them who are at the hospital. Instead relying that people will follow the rules and guidelines and keep social distancing.
I have mixed feelings for her way to stay oit and be active. More of a PR for herself...

    3. Assessing distances on these pictures is not so easy. For the rest visits, masks etc don't forget Sweden is NOT on the same strict rules as other countries. Right or wrong, not to us to judge! All European countries should follow the same rules in my view.

  8. Wonderful to see Crown Princess Victoria supporting this worthwhile organisations. The regulations in Sweden are different again and, unless it has changed since yesterday, restaurants and junior schools were still open and people were able to go out and about while observing reasonable social distancing. To GR, masks are only recommended for those who either have the virus or are treating those with the virus. There is a school of thought (not one I personally entirely agree with) that if people wear masks they are less likely to take other precautions.

I also saw something from health professionals in the U.S. that say masks are not helpful for the general population. They trap moisture which encourages growth of bacteria; they are ill-fitting and people do not generally know how to remove them without touching the front which may have the virus.

I'm sure the royal houses have expert medical guidance on these matters. And the people they are coming into contact with are vetted. I don't think anyone - be it Victoria, Maxima, Kate or William - just wake up one day and decide to do these outings. I think the risk factors are carefully evaluated. And they are probably only out there for a brief time.

Is she nuts? No masks, not enough distance to other people. And Daniel as a transplantee is in the high risk group for a Corona infection. Mrs Mojo Rising
