| Princess Marie is making a working visit to Uganda between the dates of February 26 and March 2, 2020. On the second day of her visit, Princess Marie met with farmers and families who grow crops both for the local population, but also for Danish consumers. The visit was made due to the collaboration between DanChurchAid and the companies Nordic Fruit and Biofresh, whose vision is to lift local production. |
| Then, the Princess visited the refugee camp in Omugo and met with refugee families who have been involved in a project on sustainable climate solutions for refugees in the districts of Aura, Yumbe and Kampala. As part of the project, DanChurchAid supports, among other things, the work of forming new forest areas. |
