  1. Can’t tell how it is arranged in back, but in these pics Sophie’s hair looks gorgeous — beautifully conditioned and simply and elegantly styled. I’m not a fan of large, brightly-colored floral prints, but I like her dress’s pretty neckline and flattering, body-skimming lines.

  2. Toujours naturelle la comtesse Sophie ; robe printanière dans cet imprimé fleuri qui lui irait à merveille si elle était plus courte !

Sophie's hair looks elegant. The dress is bright and cheery considering in the U.K it is winter;slowly turning into spring. She has a lovely smile and is genuinely interested in people;a good asset to the royal family.(Tara)

  11. I wonder why Sophie is doing a lot of royal work, while her husband is not.

Oh really? He's not? I thought perhaps he is doing a lot (like most other Royal men who don't do engagements with their wives). I was under the impression that he has taken on a lot of his fathers commitments and patronages. Please tell us how you know that he isn't doing a lot. Thanks.

    2. I wondered the same, but then I thought:
we also see much more of Camillas single work than Charles' and we see much more of Kates than Williams, I guess we never saw Andrew..
I think this is a fashion blog, read to approx. 97% from women, so they mostly show the womens appointments.

As you maybe remember the last statistics: Charles was one of the busiest royals last year (and almost every year I think) but we only saw him on his birthday occasions and in joint engagements.
Anne is also one of the busiest, but she's not sooo popular/fashionable so we don't see her often in this blog (or in dailymail and stuff like that)

    3. Anon 9:13: well he might be doing stuff, but there is no press coverage. Nowhere.

Be careful jumping to conclusions just because this site is mostly about royal ladies fashion and the press does not cover other royals as they should.
Engagements of the Earl of Wessex
March 4 - Christ Church Academy
      Medway Open Annual Centre
      Cobham Hall Independent School
      Dinner at Hever Castle
      March 6 - Alliance Awards
      Halcyon Gallery Reception
      March 10- The Company Shed
      West Mersea Yacht Club
Three more engagements on March 11. The list goes on...

    5. I know this site is about fashion. I am not jumping to conclusions. I read newspapers, follow websites,...i have noticed that Edward does hardly get press attention. He might be doing stuff.

  12. The Countess is a lovely lady; however I do not think these long floral dreses do her any favors. If you compare some of her styles back in around 2012, they were shorter, more classic looking and solid colrs, like the white dress and short black jacket she wore in December 2012. I fear she has a new stylist, since she seems to be wearing more matronly-looking clothing. Sad, when she so pretty.
