Queen Elizabeth visited RAF Marham in King's Lynn, Norfolk

As Honorary Air Commodore, Queen Elizabeth II visited RAF Marham in Norfolk. The Queen was greeted by the station commander Group Capt James Beck and a guard of honour. Afterwards, The Queen toured training facilities and met personnel from across the station, which is home of the combined RAF and Royal Navy F-35 Lightning force. Demonstrations of engine maintenance, weapons loading and a canopy change were also shown to The Queen. The Queen then met groups of students from the RAF and Navy, before departing for a private lunch.

The Queen looks lovely! I like the textured fabric, and that the hat, coat and dress are all in the same fabric. Some may feel that it's too much, but I think it coordinates beautifully. I also love the pale apricot and straw colours. Light and warming and perfect for pearls. Well done.

  2. Couleurs très douces qui se marient bien autant dans le manteau, la robe que le chapeau orné d'un nœud original subtilement harmonisé au nœud de sa belle broche !

Looks like Queen Elizabeth is ready for Spring. I would seriously love to know how many matching coats and hats this lady has. I like the design in the fabric, but the color washes her out. ~Rose~

The queen looks beautiful; I really like this outfit on her! The colors are soft and the woven material works well. I especially like the buttons grouped together.

I don’t think it’s her best colour, but what a beautiful tweed. (V.M.)

  14. Oh wow! This outfit looks incredible. The textured fabric, coat and dress combined with the hat, this has blended in perfectly. The pearl necklace and earrings offset by the beautiful brooch, is stunning. The Queen looks radiant and beautiful.

  15. All these coats and hats that look exactly the same and only are worn once. What a waste of taxpayers’ money....

I'm not British, but I admire The Queen more than any other royal in any other royal houses …… not important, but I think she spend less money/apanage on dresses than the next generation in their expensive fashion design by Prada,Armani, Valentino, Hugo Boss etc .
She has her own tailor/designer and use her black bag year after year and the same jewels/pearls.
Classy ❤ …… not a big spender, IMO.

    2. I'm fairly sure the Queen has her own money. Some of tax payer money is used to support the family but frankly they generate much more for their country.

The taxpayers don't pay for her clothes - and she doesn't only wear them once. They are quite frequently reworn.

And she's 93 - she's hardly going to be cutting edge and experimenting with every new style. She's found what works for her.

Some people just snark for snarking's sake.
