  2. The tailoring of Princess Kako's suit is remarkable. The horizontal lines of the plaid are perfectly carried across from the bodice to the sleeves. The binding down the front is attractive. I wonder if it hides a zipper or, perhaps, hook-and-eye type fasteners. Kako's long loose curls cascading from her shoulders are very feminine, but I do not understand the half-bangs worn by her and her sister. Overall, Princess Kako looks very pretty here. I wish there had been close-up photos of the magnificent quilts.

Thank you for explaining why this is good tailoring - I've often wondered what people mean when they say that. It would be great to have more informative comments like this. I like the outfit the winner is wearing too, with the gathering on the side. Yes it would be nice to see the quilts up close. Elle

  3. Charmante princesse.. On peut comprendre sa demi-frange (ainsi que celle de sa sœur) car cela convient bien pour pouvoir porter judicieusement le diadème lors des cérémonies officielles en suivant le protocole !

  5. Her hair is quite strange with the half fringe. The suit is more suitable for her grandmother.

  8. Oh wow! This is a superbly crafted suit, beautifully tailored and defined. The colour of her accessories, shoes and bag work in marvellously. The perfect finishing touch, glorious strand of pearls.
