  1. I do not know what is going on in England but these puffed up sleeve heads that both the Duchess of Cambridge recently and now a different cut but the same effect on the Duchess of Cornwalls coat I do not like one bit. Shades of Imelda marcus.

    2. Well, not liking an item X is not a fasion statement, but a statement of personal preference (and as such it is not really of public interest, if I may say so).
This icy blue coat fits her well. She is a hat person, but this one is not one of her best hats. Seems to be quite "heavy", a bit like a bandage after a casualty. (Ann.)

  2. Superbe couleur gris-perle qui sied à ravir à Camilla tant dans le manteau bien coupé que de la toque ainsi qu'un très léger foulard !

  5. Camilla looks beautiful. That pale color is lovely. I like that hat, it is simple, but has a slightly unusual shape, which looks great with that coat.

  6. Odd outfit with a boring plain coat, topped with a marshmallow hat is just not good.

  7. On the fence with this look.. Love the color but a little unsure regarding the coat shoulders and hat..

  8. Recently we have seen the return of padded shoulders and other shoulder treatments. They must be the newest trend and, hopefully, they too will pass. I'm not fond of Camilla's hat; it reminds me of those worn by Cossacks of old. However, I like the color of her hat and coat and the black gloves and boots are a good contrast. Her Prince of Wales brooch is a nice touch.

  9. Wow! I love it! It took me years to look at Camilia with kind eyes, I always blamed on her the suffering of Lady Di.
I was wrong she had proved time after time to be a great lady:elegant in her own style and age, loving wife, one a perfect member of the royal family: engaging in public appearances, discreet in her comments and doing, etc
And this outfit is just lovely color, winter appropriate and prefect match jewelry

  10. I like Camilla's coat and hat, the only thing i don't care for is the top of the sleeves not my thing.

  11. I don't much care for the exaggerated shoulder pads, but altogether I do like this coat's straight and clean lines, and lovely color. I don't like the hat, I find it terribly unflattering, in my opinion it ruins the entire outfit.

  12. Camilla's sleeves resemble a sleeve type from an earlier historic period. Could it be the 16th century (Elizabeth I)? Unfortunately I haven't the time to check some portraits.
Cossack hats of old were different from that of Camilla's.

  13. The hat is terrible. It looks like a big chunk of foam plonked onto her head. Otherwise the outfit is lovely! (V.M.)

  14. Like the colour and style of the coat, even the exaggerated shoulders. Credit for trying something different but the hat is not good and does nothing for her, I'm afraid.

  15. I like it! It’s a bit of a departure for Camilla, with the trendy sleeves (feels very St. Laurent), but Alzheimer’s carries it well. The colour is wonderfully elegant and works for her. The hat... first I hesitated, but it’s a great execution (I will venture and assume it’s a Tracy hat, like the majority of her millinery choices) and even if it looks like somewhat of a bagel, it’s interesting for sure. Overall very elegant and shows she has the courage to try something different. Good on her!

  17. The Duchess looks lovely in this beautiful coat. What is a letdown is the hat, it needed to have a contrast colour, feathers or embroidery, something to break the same colour scheme. It all fades away considering the Duchesses' fair hair. loved the black accessories.

  18. No to the top of the sleeves and the hat. It's a pity because the outfit's color suits her.
