State visit of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia to India

On the second day of their State visit to India, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden first attended the India-Sweden Business Summit, which is organized by Business Sweden and The Confederation of Indian Industry. Then, the Queen visited The All India Institute Of Medical Science, AIIMS, for a discussion on elderly care and dementia in India. Afterwards, the Queen visited the office of United Nations India to get information about the work on human trafficking.

  1. The Queen looks great in red. I love her suit at this event, and the multi-colored scarf in picture no. 6 is a nice addition.

  2. Queen Silvia is the essence of elegance without too much effort, if you see what I mean. Always on spot, I think. I like the fact that she did not over-coordinate with red or nude shoes, but rather took these white and black ones. The scarf is superb. I wonder how she will cope with this state visit and the very demanding Nobel week next week...

    The Queen obviously has overcome her jetlag and looks now again young and healthy, warm hearted and beautiful. Only the colour of her shoes might have chosen otherwise, may be in a dark red shade.

  6. The Queen looks marvellous. Love this red ensemble, she is the very essence of elegance. Love the addition of the colourful silk scarf. The choice of two tone shoes I love and black bag, clever, perfect choice. Delicate pearl necklace is the classic finishing touch. Cannot clearly see the earrings. Beautiful result
