Princess Charlene visited the blood transfusion center of CHPG

On December 10, 2019, Princess Charlene of Monaco visited the Blood Transfusion Center of the Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco, which is a fixed blood collection unit inaugurated on January 30 by Prince Albert II of Monaco. This 500m² space dedicated to donating blood can accommodate 1200 donors in renovated and functional premises. Princess Charlene also visited the maternity ward of the Princess Grace Hospital and met with the young mothers and their babies. (Princess Charlene wore a new tweed jacket and dress by Louis Vuitton.)

  1. What a great look on Charlene. Elegant yet very edgy.

  2. Wow! who is this! This is like the best outfit Charlene has worn in along time, even though its not appropriate for a hotel visit. Save it for the teenage Gabriela

    2. Not for a hospital visit!

    3. Yes, a couple of inches on the length of the skirt would make it more appropriate for the occasion. So happy to see her being active again. Children and sport seem to be her forté.

  4. I like this very much. A sporty chic look that really suits her. (V.M.)

  5. Edgy yes, but a too short skirt for the occasion in my opinion.

  6. Qué bueno es verla así, interesada en la visita, casi sonriendo!
Bien vestida y amable con todos
    Perfecta Charlene!

  7. My first thought on seeing this suit was "Wow, Charlene looks normal!" because it is a well-fitting, conventional suit with structured tailoring, a departure from the strange mish-mash outfits she so often wears. I love the color and the patterned weave. But the giant zipper and the miniskirt are embarrassing (have huge visible zippers become a "thing" again? Sigh...). It's a cute day look for a very young woman; perhaps Alexandra can borrow it. (I can hear it now: "But it's on trend, obviously you know nothing about fashion, btw what generation are you from?!" etc.) Lol. I'm glad to see Charlene back in Monaco.

    1. Same thought here: happy to see Charlene at all, happy to see a half smile on her face, happy to see her wear something half way 'normal'. But I also think the suit is not for her. The colour makes her look quite bland, and I agree with you the cut with the zipper and the miniskirt would look better on a very young woman. The skirt does not fit well around the hips and stomach, it is too tight and pulls up in the back. And yes I can also hear it " but she is still young, she's got the legs, she can wear everything"....;-))) Well, fashion in the sense of a personal style starts when you don't wear anything just because someone said that's fashion.

  10. I don't like this outfit at all. I don't know why but it is giving me "lady of the night" vibes. Maybe it it is the fact that outfit is too short for a woman of Charlene's age. The material and colour combination is good, if the dress was longer and if the zipper was less noticeable then I think the whole outfit would be more becoming. To each his own I guess.

  11. Even though I'm not a fan of 'logo fashion', this looks fantastic on her! Very sporty chic, very much fits with her, which makes it look that much better. She's not trying too hard. She actually looks engaged. Her hair and makeup look beautiful. Well done Charlene!

  12. I think Charlene will definitely have a new look, elegant, less smiling maybe, but quite attractive.
Vuitton is usually quite short, so not surprising.

  13. Ma princesse préférée est très joliment vêtue.
Cette robe et petite veste lui sied à merveille .
    Quel doux visage.

  14. Logo fashion is, of course only in my humble opinion, not appropriate for any kind of public outing because it is like advertising a fashion company. Nor is her facial expression appropriate (and I simply don't care what the reason is). Somehow it makes me angry to look at her face, the public part of her role is not a full time job, it should be managable. (Angry Ann. :-)

    1. I am shocked to think a dress and coat make you angry. What you should be angry about is world hunger, children being sexual abused and living on the streets. I think you should be angry about the less fortunate and not a dress for goodness sakes!!!

  15. This is really a great look on her something different for a change, but a nuance to short?

  16. Can’t imagine she didn’t have a more appropriate outfit in her closet. This one is best reserved for disco night out.

  17. Great to see Charlene out and about again. Like this outfit. Though the skirt is short, the fact that it is worn with dark opaque tights and low heels means it looks fine. Too many zips/ fastenings for my liking but it’s fine and better than some of the odd outfits she has worn recently.

  18. Lovely to see Charlene at this particular visit. The idea is there but this is a miss for me. The colour and length of the skirt especially. She seemed engaged and smiling, so nice to see.

  19. Completely agree with Lily A.and Jane Chantal. and others. The outfit is nice but not elegant for the occasion neither for the Princess.

  20. That skirt is way too short. I feel embarrassed for her.
