  1. Mary and Marie both with a monochrome look but both look kind of off. Mary's is too bulky - the trousers too wide (and a tad too short) and the coat too long in relation to the trousers; Marie's is too tight - jeggings will never look classy.

    1. I have to agree with you. In fact, when I saw Marie's coat on the model I almost couldn't believe it was the same coat. It looks so much better on the model in comparison! My other thought, is that it seems the Brits are fast becoming the only royals really dressing up for Christmas services. I know the religious call is, "Come as you are ..." but sometimes, imo, everyone has gotten a little too casual.

    2. Christian might be the best dressed in this group. :-|

But it is very nice to see everyone traveling together in the same vehicle. Or at least from these photos it seems that they all came in the vehicle.

  7. There is a comparison in an earlier comment to the British royal family: They attend two (2) church services on Christmas Day: in the morning and at 11.00a.m. - and change clothes in between. For the morning service the queen wore her mink coat and silk scarf and for the later service she had changed to the bright red ensemble. Of the other family members I have found photos of Edward and Louise from both services with Louise wearing different coat and shoes. Even Andrew attended the earlier service (walking together with Charles). Charles and Edward seemed to have same coats for both services.
Even if one dresses up when going to church, to have two different outfits to two separate church service with an interval of 2-3 hours is quite a lot (even for a royal person).

  8. Not the best dressed Royal family for the two Christmas church services, far from - to casual !!
But Marie's coat is super nice, but definitive a size too small/tight!
Marie's body shape has changed over the last 10 years, but not the
the size of her dressses, it has always been very tight-fitting, but as 40+, it is a style - lack -disaster, IMO.
Some has to be honest to tell her…… she is so beautiful!
