2019 Christmas Card of the Cambridge family was shared

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's 2019 Christmas Card has been shared online by McCafferty. The Duchess sent a card to Air Commodore Dawn McCafferty. The photo of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis was tweeted by Air Commodore Dawn McCafferty, who seemed to have received one of the cards. The Duchess became patron of the RAF Air Cadets in December 2016. She took over the patronage from the Duke of Edinburgh, who has held the position for 63 years. 1. Pour moi ce n’est pas une carte de Noël et il manque au moins 6 mois au petit prince Louis .

  5. What a fantastic picture, full of whimsy. The kids are just beautiful. With William's love of motorcycles, the kids in the sidecar is adorable. This picture just brings a smile to my face. The blue theme is pretty.

  7. Such a nice family and lovely couple; it puzzles me that they feel like making everybody happy...if this is supposed to be a Christmas card why not own up to it, like the Queen, like the Swedish royals? One can't serve everybody's faith and New Year's traditions. By staying true to one's own traditions we send an important message of respect and understanding of old rituals and continuity; it creates comfort so important in global chaos of today. IMO

    1. Dear Liza, I agree with you, this is not an appropriate Christmas card from a future king. It carries no message and is far too casual.

    2. Well his father does the same thing. So He might have decided to pick a picture from the past year like Charles does. And that one was perfect with all Of the children in it. Love it! It looks very natural. Dorothy

    1. It is, Ava - but why not a more christmas-y picture, like Victoria and her family? I don't understand it.

    2. Some families choose to "dress up" for the season and or take a formal photo in a winter-type setting, and some families choose to just look through all the casual photos taken during year - often not staged or formal; just candid shots - and use one of those for their Christmas card. Princess Diana use to do it quite often. I often feel these are more special because they, the family, is choosing to share a private family moment with you. And since William isn't king yet (if he ever will be - I'm always superstitious about just assuming something will come to pass. I always assumed Diana would be queen one day.), I don't think it's in bad form that he and the DoC are being some what informal with their Christmas cards But, as they say, JMO. :)

    3. Totally agree. I absolutely HATE posed photos in front of a tree. Or going somewhere and doing something completely staged. I Love this. It looks and feels like a true family moment. Something they could possibly do any day. Maybe it was. Maybe someone brought that by for William to show the kids and they took a couple of pics. You never know. That is a lovely picture. So glad they shared it. Marie

  11. Casual photos certainly have their place, but for their Christmas card, i would have preferred to have seen them in a winter or more festive setting. Certainly a more attractive and solid colored dress for the Duchess would have photographed better.
