| On November 14, 2019, Queen Mathilde visited the Institut du Sacré-Coeur in Barvaux (ISC Barvaux) in Durbuy and attended a class with students from the second year of secondary education to support reading aloud and encourage adults and children to read. The Queen read aloud some fragments of books by Belgian authors who participate in the contest of Le Fonds Victor. The Fund is committed to getting young people to read. (Queen Mathilde wore a new plaid multicolor coat by Natan.) |

حذفI like Mathilde's top, and her gorgeous hair! -- and the pants aren't particularly bad -- but frankly if Mathilde decided to never again wear pants, I'd be very happy. A pencil skirt in matching plaid would have looked great.
ردحذفOutfits that bring attention to the shoulder area, as here (thanks entirely to the eyecatching scarf), are always wonderful on Mathilde.
I absolutely do not agree - she got such lovely superlong legs and looks fab in pants (well, not always in Natan, but nevertheless)!.

Top is great. Not sure if the colour of the pants match really good with the jacket. Maybe black pants would have been better

Another Natan pant suit for Queen Mathilde, and just as unflattering as the previous one! (which was ill-fitted).
ردحذفHere the fit is ok, but the colours....sorry not my cup of tea. That big cape/ shawl stuff looks just too much with a short jacket, and the grey pants are ok but boring and call for a more solid shoe.
Otherwise Mathilde looks good, nice hair and makeup.
Agree, the shawl looks as if it thrown on the jacket at the last moment, to add something special, whereas a perfectly fitting jacket in this material in a normal blazer model would have been so much better.... Mathilde seems to be a nice lady, but not one with much dress sense.

حذفI think this is a successful Natan design, certainly the top, trousers could be made of some lighter fabric. I also prefer this one to the one earlier in the week.
حذفThis is much more successful than yesterday's outfit. I definitely prefer a plain pant with a patterned top. I would have loved to see her with the longer coat, but the jacket is nice.

Totally agree. Similar to yesterday in many ways but much more appealing. Like the touches of vivid lemon to brighten the overall look.

I rather like Mathilde's version of this Natan jacket. Natan doesn't always get right in my opions. And reading aloud is an excellent way to learn and enjoy reading. Good charity/event to support.

Colours and style of this "jacket" are a great choice for the Queen, but unfortunately the piece is much to short on her - in my humble opinion! (The picture with the Model shows a better look.)

ردحذفThe bright yellow of the scarf/shawl accentuates the golden highlights of her hair. Her makeup is perfect, and her complexion is magnificent. I like the jacket although I agree it might look better if it were a bit longer. Queen Mathilde seems to glow when she is among children.
