  1. Well, I don't like Letizia's dress! for several reasons

  2. Queen Letizia's hair is glorious; her makeup is perfect; and her accessories are nice. In my opinion, the print of her dress is too busy, and the hem looks ragged. Queen Sofia looks wonderful. Love the color of her blazer and her butterfly brooch. It is nice to see the two Queens together and display affection toward each other.

    1. Agreed. In this case Sofia looks well put together while Letizias Dress has a nightgown vibe and looks just too busy.

I am so ready for these "prairie" style dresses to go out of style. I never thought anything could make Queen Letizia look frumpy but this does the trick. I don't like these dresses on CP Victoria or CP Mary either. DMP

    1. Ditch the darn dresses, they're ugly by themselves and don't look good on anybody.

    2. I agree. It´s a terrible style, and I can´t wait for it to go away.

  7. Lovely to see the two Queens out and about together. For once I prefer Sofia's outfit--not something I find myself saying very often! The jacket is smart and a lovely colour and I like the coordinating blouse as well. Letizia's dress is too patterned and the overall look is not improved by the uneven hem. A win for Sofia :)

  8. Sympathiques pochette et escarpins chez Letizia mais je n'aime pas l’asymétrie de sa robe imprimée fleurie même si elle est jolie !!!

This dress emphasizes why RL usually prefers solid colors. The repeat of this seasonal print is too small, which makes it too busy. Lately she has stepped way out of her comfort zone with these prints, so she gets points for trying something new. She arrived at the even wearing a tobacco colored leather jacket over the dress that broke up the neck to calves look of the print. Hair and makeup well done. -Ana.

  11. The lady in the gray apron is Simoneta Gomez-acebo, Infanta Pilar's daughter and cousin to King Felipe.

I agree with most of the commentators, the dress has a night gown vibe. But I like the shoes and handbag. They looks good with the colours of the dress. And for me, the best part of the dress is an uneven hemline - it really flatters Letizia's beautiful legs. -Siri
