Queen Elizabeth visited the Royal British Legion Village

On November 6, 2019, Queen Elizabeth II visited the Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) village in Aylesford to celebrate the charity’s centenary year. The charity supports Armed Forces personnel and veterans, and their families, as well as people who have been long-term unemployed. The Queen opened the new Appleton Lodge care facility and visited the Centenary Village housing project. The Queen also saw how residents benefit from recreational and school activities on offer, including arts and crafts, flower arranging and reading sessions.

  2. As always, the Queen is beautifully dress. I love her purple coat and hat, and the brooch is magnificent. Her smile lights up her beautiful face.

  4. I really hope that I, when I´m 90+, will be able to use a spade like her.
In the photo where she raises her eyebrows, she looks a lot like Charles.
Her hat is cute with those pompoms. And great colour overall.

Yess, I also saw suddenly Charles in her face; and oh, to be So vivacious at this age!
      A miracle!

  5. Tja, was soll man noch sagen?
