Princess Marie took part in the launch of the book 'Mad med respekt'

On November 05, 2019, Princess Marie took part in the launch of the book 'Mad med respekt' (Food with Respect) by Selina Juul at Gyldendal House in Copenhagen. The cookbook includes 80 recipes which involve tips that decrease food waste. Princess Marie contributed to the book in preface and also gave four recipes in the book. The revenue to be gained from the sales of the book will go to "DanChurchAid" as a donation. (Princess Marie wore a new belted asymmetric ruffled crepe dress by Maje.)

  1. I don't like the style of the dress for this occasion, it looks like a dance dress. But the colour is fine and it's always a pleasure to see Marie!

  9. The dress is a nice color, but is not suitable for a woman her age, not that she is old, but it looks odd on her.

  11. Beautiful colour for her, but I’m afraid the dress/tunic is a miss for me. Too short to be a dress yet the frill at the bottom detracts from wearing it as a tunic. Plus the heavy black belt doesn’t help as it seems to chop her in half. (V.M.)

  12. Elle devrait aller faire un petit tour dans son pays natal pour s'habillier, quelle horror que cette robe/tunique.

  15. Lovely color but I’m not a fan of this dress. I don’t mind it on the model but the hemline looks heavier on Marie’s dress. Did she have the hemline extended?

The colour suits the Princess well. The cut of the hemline is not a good look at all.

This book is a great initiative. Read the speech the Princess gave and what she said made a lot of sense, one thing about the wastage of food. One chapter is recipes for left over food, which would be so interesting. It would be fantastic if the book was in English but apparently not.

  20. Ha! I had to rub my eyes to make sure it’s Marie here. Both shoulder-robbing and uneven hemlines. Not to mention the length. Grrr.
