Princess Benedikte presented 'The Elsass Foundation Research Prize'

Princess Benedikte of Denmark presented the Elsass Foundation's "The Elsass Foundation Research Prize" in Charlottenlund in Denmark on November 20, 2019. By giving that research award, the Elsass Foundation wishes to recognize and inspire new knowledge about the diagnosis of cerebral palsy. The prize is a total of DKK 1 million, of which DKK 750,000 is earmarked for new research, while DKK 250,000 is for recognition of the researcher's previous efforts.

Princess Benedikte presented the award as patron of the Elsass Foundation, to Doctor Bernhard Dan, who among other things has researched and taught cerebral palsy. The Elsass Foundation is a non-profit organisation that conducts research and provides knowledge on cerebral palsy to the professional community and in addition, it provides support to children and adults with cerebral palsy.

    This woman ALWAYS knows how to dress. Not taking anything away from Margarethe (she's got her own thing going-on), but can you imagine if Benedikte had been queen - or if she had married a king and became queen of another country? Wow.

    1. ... knows how to dress, yes for her age, which is probably the key. Personally I would not dream a second to be dressed like her, nor see younger royal ladies.

    2. Dear Europa, The Queen of Denmark is very tall and does not have the same figure as her sister, which means that her sartorial choices are more difficult. Let us not forget that she is very popular in Denmark,
      artistically gifted, and obviously very capable in many fields. And she SMILES, whatever the circumstances,
      I really admired her discipline during the sorrowful weeks around the death of Prince Henrik.
