| Princess Benedikte of Denmark presented the Elsass Foundation's "The Elsass Foundation Research Prize" in Charlottenlund in Denmark on November 20, 2019. By giving that research award, the Elsass Foundation wishes to recognize and inspire new knowledge about the diagnosis of cerebral palsy. The prize is a total of DKK 1 million, of which DKK 750,000 is earmarked for new research, while DKK 250,000 is for recognition of the researcher's previous efforts. |
| Princess Benedikte presented the award as patron of the Elsass Foundation, to Doctor Bernhard Dan, who among other things has researched and taught cerebral palsy. The Elsass Foundation is a non-profit organisation that conducts research and provides knowledge on cerebral palsy to the professional community and in addition, it provides support to children and adults with cerebral palsy. |
