J'aime beaucoup l'élégance et la sobriété du tailleur de Camilla. La veste aurait été plus jolie avec 5cm plus longue (pour affiner sa silhouette)

Le Prince Charles est très élégant en grand uniforme !

  2. She looks fantastic. The seaming on that suit just blows me away. It is so flattering and the extra touch of the delecate dragon flies on her shoulder just adds that extra bit of wow!

  4. This powder blue suit is very pretty, and Camilla's pearl necklace and dragonfly brooches are gorgeous. She and Prince Charles always seem to have a great time with they are at an event or on tour.

  5. This is something slightly different for the Duchess of Cornwall, and it's lovely. Nice to have a little variety in the wardrobe without going off into crazy land. Would love to see this in a slightly more assertive color, maybe a deep teal blue. Cerise would be pretty also.

  9. I'm surprised no one is outraged that the Duchess of Cornwall isn't wearing a hair net while rolling out the pastry dough. I'm starting to wonder if that outrage is selective.

    1. Good point. It is selective outrage, of course. Now there’s outrage at Megan and Harry wanting to spend Christmas with her mum, after Kate and William spent theirs with the Middletons there was only admiration for balancing the two sides of the family. But I admit, I had missed the hairnet miss (and associated selective outrage), cause we all know these visits to places where food and drinks are prepared are frequently without any special additional prompts

    2. While Camilla's hair is quite a bit shorter than Meghan's hair, both of them should wear hair nets when working around food. There you go...no selectivity here.

    3. Sassy, thank you for attempting to be fair and balance. I actually think short hair is more susceptible to getting into food than long hair since long hair has a tendency to get tangle in the length before shedding. But that's besides the point.

I was just hoping to highlight the disparity between the two situations. With the post on the DoS just about every commenter was disparaging her for not tying up her hair and going as far as calling her unhygienic, etc. People are entitled to their opinions but it's sad to see women so eager to tear another woman down. The Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Sussex are both dedicating their time to worthy causes and I commend them both.

    4. Anna, I complain agree. Very unfair comments always creep in when it comes to Megan. Camilla has her mor than fair share. Somehow certain people feel better about putting others down. Criticizing other makes them feel more righteous. As if...

  10. Returning to the subject of this post, I like the colour of this suit and the choice of something a bit different from her norm. However, I agree with Jane Chantal that a darker colour would be good. I do think that the dress/coat combo sheoften favours is the most flattering silhouette for her.
