King Philippe and Mathilde visited the province of West Flanders

On November 6, 2019, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited the province of West Flanders. The visit to the province of West Flanders began with a visit to the Penitentiary Agricultural Center in Ruiselede, where detainees are prepared for their return to society. The King and Queen also visited the family business Piano’s Maene, which is one of the largest piano companies in Europe. Afterwards, in Pittem, the King and Queen attended a meeting of several West Flemish business leaders on the impact of the Brexit. The King and Queen ended their visit by greeting the public.

  1. Mathilde looks so beautiful in this coat and scarf.

This fits well enough, and it is lovely with the burgundy accessories. Q. Mathilde is very short waisted and the belt does draw attention to this, but because it’s made of the same tweed as the coat I think it looks fine. (V.M.)

  4. This high-waisted flaired out coat makes Queen Mathilde look big, too much fabric below the waist. Colour and material are fine, but this style is just not flattering.
Otherwise the Queen looks good, less tired than a few days ago.

It is a dress. The combination with the belt and the boots is great

  7. Smart coat with lovely accessories but the belted style makes her look much bigger than she is.

  9. Jolie robe-manteau mais dans un tissu qui ne l'avantage pas ; belle harmonie de couleurs entre l'écharpe, la pochette et les bottes !!!
