    1. Exactly the phrase I had in mind. The pale blue coat and hat are my favourite, even trumping the red pashmina

  2. Queen Sonja knocks it out of the park here! The pale blue coat and hat are especially nice, really charming -- she looks adorable. Sonja continues to be a major role model for aging gracefully, imo.

All of Q Sonjas outfits are very nice, love the blue coat and hat. Her gala gown is very nice so is the Tiara. The King and CP look very handsome in their Gala Uniform with plenty of hardware. Sadly CP MM and Pss Astrid did not attend.

    Sonja is lovely!
I'd like to give a little shoutout to the guy with the hat on the bottom pictures. His name is Bjørn Einar Romøren, and he was one of the world's best ski jumpers. He is currently battling cancer. At first he had to decline the invite from the King, but he fought through and joined them both at Holmenkollen and the gala dinner at the Royal Palace.

    Q. Sonya looks wonderful here. My favourites are the blue coat and hat, the fuchsia suit, and casual outfit with the red shawl. She has great style! (V.M.)

I love the blue hat/coat, however, gray boots would have made the outfit top notch. The brown boots were jarring to the visual senses. The other outfits she wore were beautiful, each in their own right.... JT

    Q. Sonya looks beautiful. The blue coat combined with brown boots works so well. Two colours I would never have put together, yet here they work perfectly. Love the fuchsia suit and shawl. Grey trouser suit very smart. She really is a very elegant woman.
