| On November 10, 2019, Japan’s Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako paraded through central Tokyo. The motorcade procession was held to celebrate the enthronement of Emperor Naruhito. The parade was originally scheduled for October 22 but postponed after Typhoon Hagibis slammed into Japan and caused widespread damage. Crown Prince and Princess Akishino, and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe also took part in the procession. The parade is the last of the five key ceremonies held in connection with the enthronement of the Emperor, which began on May 1. |

The dress is impeccable, the colour is beautiful, the jewels are stunning. I like the flower petal motif of her collar. I suppose it reflects the Chrysanthemum Throne? (V.M.)
ردحذفThis must be the longest enthronement celebration, its been going since summer!!

A very happy and beautiful Empress of Japan. Just love it.
ردحذفIndeed.
حذفL’impératrice à peut-être moins de bijoux que Maxima ou Élisabeth ,parce que les bijoux ne sont pas une tradition nipponne mais ils sont magnifiques et soutiennent la comparaison, surtout les colliers .
ردحذفIndeed. The tiara she’s wearing is just a one hundred years old. But so beautiful!
حذفEs ist eine Freude die Kaiserin so glücklich zu sehen , sie geht wohl ganz in Ihrer Aufgabe als Kaiserin auf !!
