| Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie hosted the 73rd Baden-Powell Fellowship Gala Dinner. The event took place at Grand Ducal Palace in Luxembourg. King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, Honorary Chairman of the World Scout Foundation, attended the dinner at the invitation of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume. The World Baden-Powell Fellowship was established on April 25, 1982 in Kolmaarden, Sweden. The Fellowship traditionally presents a plaque to persons for their contributions to the World Scout Foundation to help support scouting. |
I'd have loved to have seen Stephanie in a more vibrantly-colored wrap, perhaps an aqua or deep teal shade -- and maybe a different necklace. But overall this isn't bad.

ردحذفStephanie hätte das bordeaux-farbene Kleid der jungen Dame auf dem vorletzten Foto sehr gut gestanden. Erstens eine schöne Farbe und zweitens hat das Kleid ein schönes tiefes Dekolleté ohne vulgär zu wirken. Ich finde es nicht charmant, wenn man, wie bei Stephanie den Ansatz der Büste sieht bzw. die „Falte“ dazwischen.

-Elisabeth- eine Büste ist das eher nicht, sondern der Ansatz der Brüste und die "Falte" das ist der Busen. Nix für ungut! Fallbeispiel: Googeln z.B. nach: "Büste der Königin Luise" ; ) Mir gefällt aber die Farbe nachtblau sehr gut, auch besonders der Schmuck, hervorragend und überraschend modern. Vulgär finde ich es übrigens auch nicht, sie ist eine junge Frau neben einem sehr attraktiven Mann ; ) -Dorothe-

حذفA necklace as such belongs to an evening gown (or cocktail gown) without plungeing neckline/decolletage. Something with a simple, closed, perhaps high-necked, front. The dress is not totally bad, nor is the necklace, just that both don't work together well.
ردحذفBusy Lady. HGD looks lovely great color dress. Love the pearls. Giullaume need to grow a beard again without he looks like he is 14 years old, he looks great with a beard, not everyone does. The men look good in their tux.
ردحذفI have to disagree about his beard. It looked scruffy and messy to me and I am glad he is now clean-shaven. He looked like a 14-year-old trying to look adult. She is much improved this week. The dress's style is matronly but it looks as if she fits right in with the rest of the women pictured. They ALL look older.

ردحذفStephanie is lovely here, though I agree that a shorter, choker style necklace would look better with the neckline of the dress. I don’t think the dress is at all matronly. Many teenagers wear similar styles for Prom dresses. I am also in the ‘no beard’ camp for Guillaume. He has lost the very high colour he had recently, and possibly also some weight?, and is looking better.
