  1. Perfectly lovely. Although some color variation maybe in the top would provide some nice contrast.

  2. Elizabeth van Engeland, Margrethe van Denemarken, Sofia van Spanje en Beatrix der Nederlanden hebben er een concurrent bij: de Keizerin van Japan. Klasse!

  5. The Empress looks very smart. The hat, much in the style of Princess Beatrix, is interesting. I agree with Cynthia that, maybe, some kind of contrast would have been nice, but she is always very demure in her appearance and may not wish to draw attention to herself. Her smile is her most beautiful accessory.

  6. Cette couleur orange va joliment à Masako ; la couleur de la pochette et des chaussures
    contraste avec beaucoup d'élégance !!!

The Empress looks lovely as usual, her smile is most becoming and entrancing. The color of her suit, appears to allow her to blend into the background of the venue, though it is an interesting shade.

  9. What a lovely colour of outfit. It's so great that the Empress has broken away from the very muted colours of the Japanese royal ladies and how good she looks.

  10. I like the pumpkin-colored outfit, the hat's style, in particular. It doesn't squash her head down like the beribboned boater-style straw hats. Now I hope we are ready to see a looser look of a dress instead of a suit. She is slowly finding her way to be and I love her smile.

This is a lovely suit. The colour is unusual and suits her well. Love the hat and the addition of gloves, finishes off the outfit perfectly. Pearl accessories are the finishing touch. She looks every elegant and all class
