Queen Silvia visited the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg

Queen Silvia is currently making a 3 day working visit to the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg in Southwestern Germany. On September 3, 2019, The Queen visited the Isle of Mainau (Konstanz). The visit is made on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Mentor Foundation for Young People, which Queen Silvia co-founded in Geneva in 1994. The foundation operates worldwide and is based on the Isle of Mainau. In the morning, Queen Silvia visited a Konstanz school and attended a Youth Summit organized by the Mentor Foundation. The Queen gave a speech at the summit.

I like the Queen’s jacket. I would have preferred it worn with a slightly slimmer cut pair of pants. Her necklace while lovely gets lost against the white blouse. Love the Alexis dress. I have the mid- length version.

  2. Unusual outfits for her, both of them.
She looks fine, of course, but I like her better in her trademark skirt suits with some colour and sharp tailoring. The gown is not my cup of tea (busy, dark & the dust ruffle is awful), but it´s probably lightweight and easy maintenance, so maybe a practical choice to bring for a trip.

I like to see more women in flat shoes / low-heeled shoes.

A nice sequinned evening gown on Q. Sylvia and I'm glad that she's worn a full slip, or had it lined, not that I think she would wear anything see-through! Not her style.
The see-through part on the model looks more than a little odd, especially from the back.

  4. I liked the coat originally but agree with Anon 1:38 that the outfit would look better if the trousers were narrower (or a shorter jacket with the wider trousers) Although it's so fussy, I think the dress looks great on the Queen--she suits the darker colour and the sequins. I also like the bronze shift dress worn by Bettina, Countess Bernadotte

Queen Silvia looks stunning in her evening gown!❤
Her arrival day outfit is a good choice, casual to a non state official reception.

I like the colors of the coat ; the evening dress does not please me.

Both outfits look very nice on Q Silvia. She seems happy to be back in the Homeland. Like the golden dress of Css Betina as well. Css Diana's is a miss. Sadly one never seen Count Christian and Css Christina on any of the pics put out. Count Bjoern is solo too.
