| On September 8, 2019, Queen Margrethe attended Holmen Church's 400th anniversary mass and reception, held at Holmen Church in Copenhagen. Holmen Church (Holmens Kirke) is a Parish church located in the center of Copenhagen, on the street called Holmens Kanal. That church has a special importance for the Queen. Queen Margrethe II (Crown Princess Margrethe back then) got married to the late Henrik de Laborde de Monpezat, at Holmens Kirke on June 10, 1967. |
