  1. As is her custom, Princess Kako is demure but, in my opinion, fashionable. I like her dress very much. It fits perfectly, and accentuates her waistline. The pearl necklace and earrings are as expected but pretty. The Chancellor's suit is a nice (spring) color, and it fits well, although, perhaps, a bit snug across the back. I am not a fan of platform heels which seem out-of-fashion now.

  3. They look like mother and daughter, (If Mrs. Bierlein had the same haircolor like Kako). Shape of face, size, legs, profile...
    Both well dressed!

Both ladies look really lovely, the skirts are a perfect length. Beautiful color of the Kanzlerin's very feminine suit - wow. /Julie/

  8. The princess looks lovely in this colorful plaid dress. It is nice to see a little variety in her outfits. Just one thing surprises me - the pattern in that plaid. Japanese design is always so carefully planned, yet the bodice front seams do not match up the plaid pattern. Neither do the skirt's side seams. Well, just enjoy the look and don't pay attention to the choice of where to put the various horizontal lines.

Both ladies look lovely. The dress of the princess is very chic and the color is perfect for her. Would have loved to see some colorful accessories. Maybe some red accents.

  12. This young lady is so adorable...today's outfit is lovely. The others have been too, but the pastel plaid is a refreshing change from solid colors (when Western dress is being worn).

  13. In the first photo (the side view of the Chancellor), I thought it was Jane Fonder. But the other photos proved that it is not. The two ladies are dressed perfectly for the occasion.
