Morocco visit of Guillaume and Stephanie, 3rd day

On the 3rd day of their working visit to Morocco, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie visited Tanger Med cargo port in Tangier (or Tangiers) city in northwestern Morocco. On arrival, the Ducal couple and accompanying business delegation were welcomed by Tangier Med Port President, Fouad Brini. The strategic port which is located near Spanish coast is one of the biggest and most important ports for the trade between Africa and Europe.

For a visit to the market in Luxembourg (or London, I think, they are still living there) it is a rather nice outfit. Not trendy, just comfy. Mind, nothing wrong with that. But for a working visit to another country and in their position - I don't know?-/Magalie

  3. C'est quand même avec une robe que je la préfère comme le 24 septembre en soirée dans une belle tenue de couleur rouge… Elle y était adorable !!!

Nice top and color,do like the sleeves. I must say Guillaume needs to grow a beard again, without it he looks like a 14 year old. Nice to see the Royal couple again.

    1. I agree with you that Guillaume looks better with his beard.

Oh I do wish Stephanie had styled her hair today as she did at the previous night's reception. It looked so flattering. This blouse would have been better with a black skirt or straighter, more tailored trousers and black pumps or flats. I do think the blouse is a great color for her and the ruffled sleeves are very pretty.

Agree, love the blouse on her.
She is a very beautiful women and so her husband is hansome, too. They both look a bit as they need some recover.

    2. Agree with Michelle, colour matching is not good.

    1. Oh, yes, it is a very dowdy look. Period. But her husband looks so much better without the grungy whiskery look. He certainly resembles his mother.

Oh dear, the white shoes ruined the look of a nice outfit, but I'm sure they were comfortable for walking.... jt

    1. I had the same thought about the white shoes. Such a puzzling choice. Matching the shoes with the pants (and maybe adding a bit of a heel while we're at it) would have made a huge, positive difference.

The blouse suits her quite well in colour and silhouette but the rest of the outfit looks like random things just grabbed from the closet. Trousers, pants, and handbag are ‘okay’ but not particularly harmonious. I also think her hair is a miss too. It looks like she combed it back and then forgot to style it. She’s such a lovely looking woman and projects a gentle warmth. I just wish she’d pay more attention to how she looks. (V.M.)

  10. Like the blouse , the trousers less so, the shoes not at all.

  11. I like the blouse. Trousers are ok, albeit a bit long. I don´t like the white shoes. They look random with this outfit and make it rather casual. I think that shoes with a low heel in a colour similar to blouse or bag had made for more coherent look and a slightly more formal impression. Her hair style is weird here, but I do very much like that length on her. It looks very good.

I know that this is a fashion blog but it makes me so sad to see that there are no women in that business delegation... :(

I like her a lot, she seems one of the people who just don't have much of a dress sense. There are people who are naturally stylish and others who just don't have the eye for detail, for fabric, for color. No fault with that. Certainly, she could pay a designer or stylist, but it just doesn't seem to be so much of a priority for her. That actually makes me like her even more. The one thing I really wonder about is why she insists on wearing yellow/ish clothes. I have the same skin tone and hair colour as she has, and yellow makes me just look dead - same as her. And even a person with little dress sense must be able to SEE that when she looks in the mirror, no?

    1. Agree. Again, Stephanie is an embarrassment for Luxembourg. Her always stylish mother in law should interfere and get her a stylist or some simple sensible advice on how to dress when representing your country at the highest level. Her clothes look cheap and distasteful (!) The moroccan royal family ladies always look impeccable when they receive foreign visits or when they travel abroad in representation of Morocco

    3. Maria Teresa seems to be happy that Stephanie doesn't outshine her. Otherwise she would have intervened long time ago.

  17. Does Stephanie have a wardrobe budget?

A Hairbrush, 1,2,3, Hair Clip *ready to go! Sometimes i like and love her so much, but sometimes stunned. I would like to take her by the hand and choose classics with her that always fit together. Her royal highness dressing room must be cleared out! Maybe it's her signals that we should recognize. What fragrance will she wear?
