  1. I am loving that vibrant blue on Empress Masako. Beautiful!

  2. I love what she does with her shoes here 🙂. She has worn two-toned shoes, coordinated to her outfit, on several occasions now and I wonder if this may become something of a trademark. The pale blue-grey and white ones she wore to greet the Macrons in June were to die for (as was her suit).

What a beautiful suit on E. Masako. It fits her very well and the colour is gorgeous. I like the two- toned pumps too. They add a little more interest to the ensemble. (V.M.)

  9. A really lovely complete outfit in a beautiful shade. Even the handbag is two tone. I also like the way that the emperor's tie always coordinates.

  15. The blue suit is very flattering and elegant. The styling with the two-tone shoes reminds me of the look of Diana Princess of Wales.

  16. Empress Masako proves that a lady in her position can be chic and modern without adopting the latest tendencies, just adding some unexpected touch, like the pretty two-tone shoes and bag. A neatly done hair is, of course, an indispensable condition to achieving a polished look. The Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg could take a leaf out of Masako's book.

She looks nice and friendly but her clothes are very old-fashion. - Siri

She had a lovely suit, hat, bag, but the shoes, distracted somehow from the overall look and one is left staring at the white part of the shoe, which is very outdated. Just my opinion.... jt
