Spanish Royal family visited Son Marroig Museum in Palma

On August 08, 2019, King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, Crown Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia of Spain visited the Son Marroig House Museum in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The museum includes personal objects of the Archduke Louis Salvador of Austria as well as paintings, furniture and pottery from different periods. I really love the last family photo!
All we need is this photo, I think.
I'm a bit tired because there are so many their vacation photos published. This photo is enough.

She is right there, on the photos! With her husband and daughters. :)

    2. It's weird getting tired of photos. It's very easy: don't see them. I love to see my princesses because throughout the year, we have little opportunity to see them again. I think it's enough because they really need to rest, but not because I'm tired of seeing their photos. Leonor is beautiful and I never get tired of seeing her like her sister Sofi.

    3. They are all picture-perfect. Another beautiful, simple but elegant summer-dress for the Queen...

    4. How can you be tired of photos of this lovely family. My only concern is that they are not getting enough time to themselves out of the spotlight. Nice dress for the Queen once again and beautiful dresses for the girls. I like the way they have had their hair done recently moving away from the waterfall of hair favoured by many others, not just royals, which needs constant pushing back and fiddling with.

Letizia's daughters are the most well behaved royal children. These two girls are impressive in manners elegance and beauty. Never saw them sticking their tongue out and Letizia laughing. Letizia did a superior job with them. Their manners, beauty and grace is unmatched.

Their outfits are coordinated without being matchy matchy. Both girls are dressed stylishly and age appropriate. I particularly like Sofia's dress with her pink shoes. Love the detail on Letizia's dress the buttons and the belt.

  4. Great dress, here in a casual mode but with a different belt, shoes and complements could be use in a more formal situation.
The last picture it's such great family postcard.

The girl look gorgeous, they seem taller every day. Leonor should be much more developed since she is turning 14 in a few months.

"should be much more developed"? What a creepy comment. Because she dresses decently, her "development" isn't on display for the world to see. I wish more parents had the sense to protect their children like this.

    3. I don´t think the wording ("should be much more developed") was especially well chosen but I agree with what you´re trying to say. I too have thought that Leonor still looks very young for her age. She sure has grown and there´s nothing wrong with her, but it is interesting indeed how growth patterns are so different. She is very beautiful in any case.

    4. Each of us is like an individual timed-release capsule :-). Some girls begin to look mature at 13 or 14, others much later in their teens. Some boys who at 14 think they will never be as tall as their friends, end up towering over them at 20 (my son's story :-). Indeed, it is interesting.

    5. Anonymous9/8/19 02:26

So the original comment about Leonor’s growth coming from a woman is strange but calling the 3 Dutch princesses is ok? Neither comment is appropriate. The comment out about the girls chest size which they cannot control is crass and tactless. Puberty hits us all female or male at different times. I couldn’t imagine going through it under the public scrutiny as these young royals.

    6. The girls are 12 and 13 years old and they look perfectly rigth for their age. They may look small, but I think, they aren't. It is only because their parents are both tall. I would think they both reach the height of their mother. Maybe Sofia will be even taller. Leonor has a very slender frame - good for her. Obviously people are used to overweight and premature teenagers these days who dress like popstars or Instagram Influencers.

Both girls are really beautiful. They seem to be kind and open minded. Leonor sometimes seems to feel the pressure of her role and the amount of attention she gets. Which is totally understandable at her age. My kids hated it to get photographed on family events at that age. And we are not royals :-)) Sofia seems to be a little more free spirited. But well, that's often the case for the second born. Think of William and Harry. Or of Victoria and Madeleine.
It is nice of The Spanish Royals to share these photos over summer. As soon as school begins, we will not see them that often. Which is a good thing, they need a safe space to grow up. I hope the family gets a few days of privacy without the paparazzi following them each step.

Isabel, your comments are totally out of line, not only because they are rude and “portera” like, but also because nobody cares about your political ideas or the meeting between the King and the current president. There are many other sites on which you can enlighten others with your agenda. Ya os cargasteis el blog the Uxia y ahora vienes aquí a fastidiar?
La verdad no creo que este sea el lugar para ti, quizá el Coti sea más apropiado?

  14. Letizia's dress is fabulous, and beautifully made. I love the details from the buttons to the rope belt. The fabric is a healthy weight so it is not transparent. The girls are adorable as usual. They look like a typical family on a summer outing.

    ReplyDelete
  15. @ 4:58, there is a good reason why they are publishing so many outings, the royal family have traditionally vacationed in Mallorca, and a few years ago Letizia made an honest comment stating that these days weren't entirely holidays since there were several acts, and appearances that they had to perform, unfortunately the press ran with the quote and made it look like she hated the islands, and the tabloids make sure that they repeat it on every article, also in a couple of days they will star their private vacation and the haters feel that they are entitled to pictures of their family moments, while they are swimming, sunbathing etc,. and are constantly criticizing Letizia for not revealing where it would take place, the speculations and attacks have already started, just like every summer. I am guessing that to mitigate some of the vitriol, they are being a little more public, to assuage the ever hungry gossips.
Love these pictures, the king looks yummy and Letizia's outfit is fresh and effortlessly elegant. The kids are looking happy and relaxed.
Wishing them a few days of rest away from prying eyes!!

Thanks for the information. I've been wondering why we are seeing so many photos them recently..
That said, I think it's rather .. for lack of a better word, unfortunate that they are in the position to have to defend/guard themselves unlike other royals let's say like the Dutch.

      Wish them the best.

    2. Anonymous 12:34 and 12:43 ....are you the same person? Sounds like it, by the aggressive undertone of your words. What do you want tell by posting a photo that is 40 years old. Sofia, then 40 years younger did not wear the same outfit as for the reception the other day. Who would have thought this!

Quite honestly I must say I am appalled by the mere rudeness some spanish speaking Anonymous who never bother to sign by their name bring to this blog. If you have nothing substantial to say you can as well leave.

And you may also think about this: this is an international blog, most of us are not native English speakers, but as English is the language that is mostly understood we all make an effort to communicate in a way that serves the community the best. You don't make any effort, you are not interested in the community, you came here to spatter poison. But you should understand one thing: this is not the kind of blog where this is accepted. For any rude comment you make, there will be an upright person here to put things right. You will not win! You can as well leave.

    4. Hi, Beth. Don’t know if you are an administrator or similar for the blog but I personally don’t like the idea of telling people to leave. I understood that any comments deemed unacceptable were moderated and either not posted or removed if spotted later. While I often agree with the point you make, sometimes you opposition appears to me to be overly harsh. Secondly, I very much enjoy the comments in other languages. I usually go to translate the comments, (French fine, German learnt once but mostly forgotten, Spanish know a little) which gives me the excuse that the time I spend on this blog is actively contributing to my learning.

    5. Coming back, I am happy to see that the rude comments I was referring to are deleted. Thanks to the owner of the blog!

There are lately some spanish users on this blog, who obviously hate Letizia that much, that they use any news, any photo to race against Letizia. This is disgusting.

    6. You are right, Angela M., it is not worth to argue with these people. Helen Electra has thankfully deleted the nasty comments.

    7. @AnnieM, thank you for your kind and moderate respond. You are right, I was kind of overreacting. And as Angela M. said, it is better to not feed the trolls. I cannot deal with the plain hatred that some of the royal ladies especially Letizia and Meghan have to face in media. I stopped reading the Yellow Press for that reason and have always enjoyed to come to this site from time to time - when I look for a little distraction in a work day. Although opinions vary the atmosphere was always good, so I was kind of baffled to lately find some of the typical hate speech comments on this blog. I am glad they are deleted. And I will be happy to go back to fashion themes. Let's see what new fashion topics and colors autumn brings :-))
Like you I have learned a lot on this site, it is quite educational on fashion and life. Have a nice weekend.
