  1. I like this coat dress. The color looks good and I like that she is bringing in yellow in the shoes and purse. The earrings are a bit much and I would rather see a simple gold earring instead. I am happy to see that she has pulled her hair up, but she has forgotten to deal with the flyaways, so not as much improvement as we would hope for.

I am sure her hair is ruined by permanent highlighting. It's the worst thing you can do to your hair.

I'm sorry that my Deutsch it's really bad and for that reason I'll keep it in just bad English... hoping that this bad English be good enough :)

    3. @Beth. HEDY!

  4. Very ill-fitting coat, sorry. The colour is nice on her though and her hair is better too.

The hair is a tad better, but not good by any means, neither are the ugly earrings. The gold shoes with plastic/clear bits do not match anything and the coat dress is just not right. Not a good day for her, IMO.

Well I'm in the 'love this dress' camp. It looks smart and sharp and has a real business feel to it. I also feel that she wears it well and I too like the intro of yellow by way of the shoes and purse. I'm not a fan of the earrings.

As far as the hair goes, it looks to me like typical 'tired hair' syndrome. This could be due to excessive chemical conditioning, but I suspect more likely due to tiredness, heat and humidity, jet lag, not enough sleep and for all we know, possibly even water quality for washing (hard water vs. soft water). She's been a busy lady for several weeks now.

  8. Hair looks much better today. Like the colour of the dress but don’t think the style is the most flattering for the Queen

The yellow shoes are a fun touch, and I love the colour of the dress - really flattering on her. Unfortunately it just doesn’t fit properly. The bodice is pulling and wrinkled. Why are these clothes not properly tailored? I can’t understand it. . (V.M.)

  10. I'm surprised she doesn't travel with a stylist that can help with the hair.

The dress does nothing for her, the lapels are too big, the dress is too short and wrinkled, the material is too shiny. And her hair ::sigh::
Regardless of how hard she works and how wide her smile is etc. she needs to start looking like the queen she is. The House of Orange is very rich and can easily afford a stylist.

  12. I really like this dress, but as usual with Máxima the devil is in the details, it would be perfection with 2 extra centimeters on the length and the belt needs to be loosen up a little bit, that way it would just flow rather than look cinched. The pony tail is a good idea, but there are thousands of products that with a couple of sprays make the fly always disappear and give a polished and clean look. I do like the shoes, and love the earrings.
The statement that having an stylist on payroll is too expensive is just unrealistic, I am sure that her whole ensemble cost more than half the salary of a hairdresser, I imagine that Royal House has a very large amount of personnel to deal with a multitude of chores, I can't imagine that they would be broken by a few thousands euros monthly :-)

  13. The dress puckers and pulls at the chest and there is no excuse for that. Have the seamstress let out the seams. Otherwise it is a rather professinal looking dress for the ocassion.
