  1. The pictures itself are already great! The two families out and about, enjoying the event and each other's company.
Kate looks very nice in her pink dress. Her children grow up so fast! Charlotte looks outgoing as always.
Meghan cuddling Archie is so cute and sweet. Really adorable. I don't like her dress, but with her tan she can have it.

Catherine's dress is very pretty and the shoes are great, so summery. Her hair is looking very good lately. George and Louis are handsome little men in their shorts while Charlotte is cute in her dress and sporty little ponytail.

  4. Lovely family day. Catherine's dress is a pretty-in-pink summery triumph. Meghan's dress is too shapeless for me but I do like the natural mossy-green color. She is obviously completely in love with her baby, as is Harry, and it's sweet to see.

  6. What a happy surprise. It is so nice to see the Wales boys and their families together. Kate looks very mom-chic, and I love her purse. The children have grown so much and are adorable! It is harder to see Meghan's dress, but I love the color and it looks very comfy. I can't comment any more than that. Before too long, we will be seeing the cousins playing together.

Babies get heavier everyday, and breastfeeding makes it painful for the bulk of the weight to go against it....thus the low carrying is less painful but maybe a little awkward...remember when he was a week old Meg was holding him with at the meeting with the queen and it was very appropriate and maternal. What I find weird is that there are no snaps of sisters in law carrying on a conversation. Kate seems to totally ignore Meghan which tells me who Kate is. She forgot what was like to be new in the family. She could make an effort. Does Kate have any female friends?

Sometimes I wonder if there is a competition who can be the cruelest and meanest. If there is Ano at 11:14 is doing great job. I love the color of Meghan’s dress. It’s beautiful. The dress reminds the linen dress I was using after I got my first baby.

Excuse me @Anonymous 11:48pm. In case you hadn't noticed Catherine was busy looking after three rambunctious children including a very lively and active toddler who was running everywhere. She had her hands full and didn't have time to babysit a 38 year old woman who could have started a conversation if she really wanted to. Why exactly is the onus on Catherine to talk to Meghan? I didn't see Meghan make any effort on her part to talk to Catherine or any of the lovely Cambridge children who are also her nieces and nephews. She was ignoring them too in all the pictures so I guess that tells us exactly what type of person Meghan is according to your standards.
And in answer to your ridiculous question: Catherine has a number of close female friends she has been known too since her secondary school and university days.

Indeed pram would've be a very nice idea. MM has been in maternity or motherhood leave since April I think and she still doesn't know how to hold her baby very well ! I can see from her face features the suffering . Maybe she is depending on her mom or the nannies all the time.

    12. About Meghan holding Archie: My syster held her babies often the way Meghan is holding Arcie. They love to be so close to their mother's chest, it gives them safety and security. Sometimes the babies even fall asleep when being held that way. (My sister's babies did:-))
And, she is still a 'new' mum and knows all eyes are on her. Give her time and space to settle!
Sometimes it seems (poor) Meghan can't do it right, can she?
      Yes. She can!!!

    13. Anonymous11/7/19 19:17

I think part of the problem is that Megan hasn't lost all the "baby weight" and her upper stomach area is still protruding more than she'd like. I also think this is why she didn't wear the belt that goes with the dress. The way the dress is designed it really needs the belt otherwise it just looks like a big green muumuu. When she was at Wimbledon the other day, the top she had on seemed to have a lot of rooshing and stretch and was black so it was better camouflage for her waistline, especially with a jacket over the top of it. For the christening I've only seen photos of her sitting down - with the baby in front of her - or from the shoulders up. So she may be a bit self-conscious about her waist. Even though in this day and age most people try not to put extra pressure on women to quickly "snap back" into shape after having a baby they still feel the pressure - and they're not even on the world stage! And some women never fully get back to where they were regardless of how physical fit they are; look at Zara. (Just saying.) So holding Archie like that probably had as much to do with using him as camouflage as it did with any other reason. I'm sure she is trying her best be smart and healthy about letting her body heal in it's own time but it's still hard not to worry and give in to the pressure of getting her shape back; especially when you have a sister-in-law that's stick thin and looked picture perfect just hours after having each of her *three* babies. :-|

Oh come on, cut them both some slack.
There are a couple of pictures taken over the duration of a day, so we don't know who has been speaking for what amount of time. They may have had lovely chats, or not, we just don't have a way of knowing for certain.
As for Meghan, I don't think her holding the baby looks unpracticed, I think she's just having trouble with the blanket. I remember my daughter having a huge blanket and it was always a bit of a problem to keep the baby covered and the blanket from touching the floor (and sometimes it seemed to want to strangle me), so maybe that's what it was.
I know that some think being snarky is good fun, but to me it just seems to tarnish the soul with negativity. There's so much nice that could be said about the women in the pictures, so why focus on speculating about negative aspects that may or may not actually be there?

      *end of annoying sermon

Polo day. Love the little Cambridge children. Little Louis is very lively, he and Charlotte are the least shy. George is a bit cooler, like his Dad.The children are dressed lovely and so is the Dss,great color dress and bag. Little Archie may felt more comfortable in a Pram, since he is only 2 months old but he is a cutie too. Meghan's dress is cool, for summer, but way to big,she is getting lost in it.

Kate’s outfit looks pretty and appropriate for being outside, can’t see myself running after my kids in those shoes but good for her. Meghan’s dress is horrible, it’s basically a 700$ trash bag, but the color is pretty. There’s a picture of Meghan’s dress with a really wide sash to tie it back with, I’m 3 months postpartum and I feel even with that belt it’d feel comfortable too. And it’d give her some shape.

  14. Catherine’s dress is beautiful. We’ve had a week of great pink dresses. The Cambridge children look great. It’s good to see George happy and relaxed as he sometimes appears quite anxious and Charlotte is a little star. My more charitable thought is that the Duchess of Sussex has that weird grasp of Master Archie because she’s worried about the heat of the sun but it did also occur to me that it’s because she’s afraid of there being any unauthorised photos of him?

The Duchess of Cambridge's outfit is so pretty and she has an incredible figure. I love the pretty purse casually slung across her chest so her hands are free for the children. The Cambridge children are all adorable. Louis looks like the cutest handful he seems to be running around everywhere with Kate chasing after him lol! They might be Royal but it's nice to see how normal the Cambridge children are just having fun running around with a football and having a picnic from the back of the car.

No comment on the expensive ugly tent the Duchess of Sussex is wearing. She might have been more comfortable if she had brought a baby sling or a pram or even just sat down. She looked so awkward tin a lot of the pictures.

  18. Nothing wrong in the way she is holding the baby, cuddled against her breast, and trying not to drop the blanket, while covering his head. If there is one thing I know is how to handle infants, specially newborns, so nothing to criticize here.. move on ladies.Catherine looks fine, pretty dress, and great shoes. Megan's dress is rather shapeless, but I do like the color, and I am sure that she is comfy. The children adorable as usual.

    1. Thank you Cherry Blossom! I also have some experience of how to hold newborns and there seems to be nothing wrong with Meghan's way to do it. She is very protectiv. If they will take Archie with them it does not mean that they have to show him to everyone. Some people just have always the need to criticize her. The color of her dress is beautiful green. I wish Catherine woul'd at least once wear more unpolished dress than those "cute" ones. But I do like the pink color.

"Nothing to criticize here": Thumbs up for this! And not to forget: Very young babies sometimes hate to be in a pram - so cold and big and so very much unlike warm and soft mummy. My son just did not want to be in a pram until later und he was unmistakeably *very* vocal about it. And also nothing to criticize about the (for us completely unknown) interaction between these two women. (I also would not tolerate remarks about it in a fashion blog ...)

The kids all look cute and dressed perfectly for the occasion. Catherine has been nailing her fashion game these last few months for me. I have the same espadrilles- they comfortable to wear all day and easy to chase after a little one in. Like the color of Megan’s dress but feel it is at least a size too big. She is swimming in the dress and would be even if she had belted it. I understand dressing for comfort post- baby but the dress simply overwhelms her tiny frame. I do like Megan’s shades and hair. Wish we got to see her shoes.

  20. Good to see them all together and there is nothing wrong between Kate and Meghan. It's the way the media "offers" present the pictures. I watched others plus video on you tube. Meghan can hold her baby the way she likes and as long as little Archie feels comfortable in mommy's arms it's OK. I don't like Meghan's expensive dress. The colour is good and suits her and Catherine always same style. I prefer her casual for such events and with 3 children around.

I tend to agree with the other commenters who find Meghan's way of carrying Archie somewhat awkward, it looks too low to me and she seems to be uncomfortable. The other point I wanted to make is that I find it a bit unsafe to hold such a young infant (8 weeks) vertically for a long time, their neck muscles are nowhere near strong enough to hold their head, that's why you always carry a newborn in a horizontal position with the head safely nestled in the carriers' arm. It's OK for a few minutes but not for a long time which I suppose they stayed there to watch the match.... Maybe Meghan realized herself that it was not such a good idea to not have taken the pram and that's why she looks uncomfortable holding him. We of course don't know what exactly happened, maybe she was there only for a few minutes for a quick check on how the match was going and then she left, or perhaps she even got the pram out of the back of her car but no pics were taken of that so we don't really know, we can only comment on what we see. The other point I wanted to make is that there doesn't seem to be much interaction between Kate and Meghan. I am not blaming one or the other for ignoring the other, just stating what we see from the pictures offered to us. The two women seem to just happen to be attending the same match but not really doing so TOGETHER, each one seems to be on her own, with her own child/ren. I know some of you will immediately jump and say that both of them have their hands full with the children and don't have time for long chats with each-other - which is of course true and not to be underestimated - but still, we have seen how friendly and much more interactive Kate and Zara are in this kind of setting despite both of them having the children with them. I am sure you all can see the difference.... They could have made an effort, even if just to give a visual message to the media and the public to placate all the rumors, instead like this they are only fuelling the rumor mill even more... Not trying to judge, just stating my observations. Thank you.

Can you PLEASE!!!! stop with the ‘observations’? Don’t play innocent, cause certainly that’s not the case. At lest call out your name. Just because you’re ‘writing’ (better call that snipping) under anonymous cover doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have accountability for what you all write. What age and level of maturity do you all ‘anonymous’ people have? Teenagers?

I think we should enjoy seeing them together and in particular the newest sweet addition to the family. It’s amazing on its own that they took Archie out so early to a public event. How many pictures have you seen of other mums having to carry their baby in a noisy place at only2 months old? Did we see Kate carrying George? No, and we were happy to give them some privacy and leave them to have a life out of the public eye. Do we know how Kate was holding her first born when he was 2 months old?

Megan is a wonderful soul. Leave her alone and mind your own business. Seems some folks have completely forgotten where the ridiculous speculative comments from media and public have taken the royal family before. There is nothing to justify this type of attitude.

  25. @4:08, not to sound pedantic... but I have delivered thousands of babies in my career, and besides that I often work (volunteer)with low income/teenage first time mothers, to educate them about changing diapers, bathing, holding, and nursing newborns, there is NOTHING wrong with the way Megan is holding the child, against her breast and supporting his head, is perfectly natural, never heard of your theories about the vertical issue, have you ever seen the pouches that mothers wear in other continents??? . You are absolutely right stating that you don't know how long she was standing there, we only have some pictures. For the ones making comments about her not knowing how you carry the baby, and assuming that she delegates her care to others, is just another form of denigrating this woman. I agree that there doesn't seem to be a best "buddy " interaction between these 2, just a polite relationship, and who cares? , do you think they should stage double dates and fake poses, to satisfy people? . The yellow press has a good hold in people's thinking these days, with their conspiracies and dramas, please stop all this nonsense.

I love the pics on this site but its shameful the disparaging thinly veiled comments hidden behind supposed concern for the baby. It's a fashion blog but 90% of the comments here are devoted to how she holds her baby! These are photos a snapshot in time that we KNOW the media collates to give a certain viewpoint that many seem to fall for everytime. If they don't hang out there's a feud. We see them together they're staged, they're not talking to each other. Give me a break. This is the same sort of scrutiny that Disna suffered. And considering that Kate has never been treated the same way there's only one clear difference and that's the color of this young women's skin and her ethnicity.

At a time when women around the world are fighting for equality, acceptance and even survival, other women are sometimes their worst enemies. Let's support these two very public moms, and stand by them with kind words to overcome the hate and indifference they face. We owe it to ourselves, rather it be fashion or fun. Love you all!

Louis and Kate are smiling, facing and playing at Archie and Meghan. Come on. They're at a game together of course they talked and played together. These are only 13 photos of an event that I'm sure took up the whole day. Meghan can hold her baby how she wants, he looks supported. She's trying to shield his face from photographers. Leave her alone. Women need to stop bringing other women down.
