Nice to see her smiling so much! She looks very happy. Also looks amazingly beautiful and fashionable, as usual. I really want her clothes!

Another simple but cool approach to the heat of summer as QL reaches into the closet for more white pieces. She manages to keep the cotton/linen wrinkle free, not an easy thing. Continuing her promise to support women's sports in the country.

Fresh look on her but the tailoring is far from perfect.

All in white today. Nice outfit for this event.

  5. Having skimmed the headline and realised that it was a sporting event, I genuinely thought this was a judo suit! The trousers and shoes are okay but the top is like a judo suit or pyjama jacket. She can do so much better than this

I have never seen a pyjama jacket with those pockets and a belt, at least in these country. It is a very common style to be comfy in summer and protected of the sun but fresh.

I see it as very "Ibiza" style..., very Mediterranean, yes..

This judo top has safari pockets and the hem is cut in military uniform style. Also, the button down style of the cuffs which are turned back on these pyjamas.

I have never seen a pyjama like that, in summer we use a camisole or a t-shirt and shorts or something silky if you want something more elegant but not so cover. In winter plush ir silky also, but definitely edgier.
In fact this "suit" is very common for summer.

  8. For a moment I thought Letizia was about to be instructed in Judo or some other martial art, then I spotted her footwear and realised she wasn't actually in a martial arts uniform but a white belted suit. Not one of her best in my opinion.

Actually, it is a very common style in Spain, with pants or as a dress. I think you have never seen a proper "judo" jacket. They have neither pockets nor buttons and they are wrapped also the belt is black or another colour.

    2. The colour for the day among the officials appeared to be white, loose clothing for the heat. Getting judo instructions from the rugby players, priceless.:(

It is a "Saharan" jacket, safary style, not judo.

I have never seen a "safari" style jacket as a "uniform". The level of nonsense is increasing.
Here nobody has been in a heat place in summer.

Uniforms?? Judo?? Haven't you ever seen a summer linen suit?? It could not be more classical.

The suit is by Carolina Herrera.

  10. Love this top, but I don't like it combined with the white pants, it looks like a house painter, If she had only introduced a small print, or perhaps a soft color, (yellow or blue comes to mind) it would have been a winner. Shoes are adorable.

I have never seen a "painter" in white which is a very "dirty" colour. It must be in other countries here they wear blue, black...However I have seen these suits all around the Mediterranean, including Greece, Italy,France, even Israel, ..
Cultural things are important but not everybody has the same.

Cherry, always look at the officials, and you will see that there is a colour of the day. Most of the time the men's suits all match too. Creates a more cohesive picture. This is indeed perfect Mediterranean style.
