All the ladies look great, but Melania looks particularly exquisite. The navy and white is so classy and elegant, love it!

  2. Melania looks absolutely amazing! Perfect! The Queen rarely faults and not this time either, she's always elegant and smiling. Camilla looks good too, I only wish she would wear different shoes. They're not terrible, but kind of misses the point and rather boring. I think she has the same pair in a few different colour options.

    1. Agree with you Mrs M. Have seen these shoes often combined with outfits which do not always match. I wanted to comment about them too, but didn't want to be picky ;-)

  3. Can't wait to see the State Banquet!
The Queen looks nice, great colour, and Melania too, very sophisticated. I like the cut of Camilla's dress, but I think it is not very flattering.

Very summery but elegant looks here. Mrs Trump looks very stylish and appropriate. The queen is the queen. Camilla looks great too, very posh.

It's not a decent handshake because your queen doesn't extend her whole hand. Amazing that people still think people are actually "royal" simply because their family won more battles and took control of a country.

  7. Mrs. Trump look fabulous, I really like that vibe of yesteryear elegance, I specially like her hat, simple and dramatic, as I can't imagine her on the more elaborate and fussy pieces. I also think that she looks so much better with her hair up! The Queen herself as usual a picture of dignity and personality. Camila' dress is very crisp and has a good style for her body type and age, if only she would only lose those shoes!!!

Mrs Trump is the winner here, perection. Next is Camilla because she looks even better than usual and the Queen is flawless as usual, great style.

  12. What a sartorial home run for these three ladies! Superb. And I'm so delighted to see Melania's pretty updo -- would love to see her hair this way more often. And the color of Queen Elizabeth's outfit is gorgeous -- reminds me of the color her mother wore to Charles and Diana's wedding, a rather magical blending of celadon and teal blue.

  14. Pour le mariage de Charles et Diana la reine portait du bleu ciel ,rien à voir avec ce turquoise et sa vieille mère un vert céladon poussiéreux.

  15. Melania's had towering high heels, too high I think, and personally I wouldn't when the Queen is so much shorter.Iam not saying no heel.I think Melania dresses too strict, uniform style.

  16. The queen looks wonderful, the coat has a great colour. the dress is very nice, I saw pics of the floral pattern and I liked it a lot.
And she's so polite to this... guest...
I think, Trump is not behaving very well. He greeted her with a handshake that looks more like a 'gang-greeting' at the pics and no curtsy from his wife as far as we know.
    Camilla looks nice, too.

I'm not that happy with Melanias dress. I think, it should be a hommage to Audrey Hepburn, but for me it looks more like Mary Poppins. She is a beautiful woman but with her stylings she did much better before.

    1. Melania was absolutely stunning.

And no, she's not obliged in any way to curtsy to the Queen. We don't do that in the USA. Period.

The Queen looked lovely as usual- she rarely puts a sartorial foot wrong.

Camilla? One of her best looks lately, but I agree with everyone else - please lose those shoes.

No you don't do that in USA but this is in London and it's the Queen we are talking about
      period

@ Marybeth in Florida, Melania was not obliged to curtsy BUT to curtsy to the Queen is showing respect.
PS. Of course you don't do that in America, You don't have QUEEN !

    4. I agree with Anithahemma and Anonymous.
I'm not that bad with Melanias style, I just don't like this kind of fashion she wears there. I like her in other styles more.

  17. I quite like all the looks. However, I do have two minor things to criticise: First, Mrs. Trump could havee done with some heels not so high; second, wearing a hat indoors (Clarence House, I suppose) is just not what you do. Done.
