  5. Love it!! What a great look, that green is so pretty, the silhouette enhances her fantastic figure. Even though the choker it's little bit big for my taste, what the heck! Is Máxima, and she hits it out of the park.

  7. Outstanding! This is the Maxima I know and I love. Stunning!
The colour, the cut, the delicate lace and how it fits her as a glove... a typical Jan Taminiau. And also the elegant updo and beautiful jewelry...I love it!

No one does gala better than Maxima. The dress is beautiful and the colour green in honor of Ireland. Her jewelery is to die for.

Would have preferred the necklace without the pendant- there’s something about how it meets the top of the gown I don’t love. However, the rest of her look is sheer perfection. Great fit, beautiful color, simple and elegant hair and make up.

      Agree, always something overdone....

    2. Agree. If that oval jade piece was omitted, the rest of the necklace would have hung at the perfect place on her neck, giving a bit of space between necklace and the grown.
The gown is magnificent and a lovely tribute to Ireland -- she did well on this event.

    3. Virginia, that oval jade piece happens to be a real rare, big and nice color emerald.

Absolutely agree. I also have a problem with the shoes, but I guess it does not really matter as you do not see them so much!

  22. Maxima looks great! The color is so very flattering, and the cut of the gown makes her look waist look small. As has been mention a couple of times, the necklace doesn't feel quite right. I don't think she needed to wear it, or the drop could have been removed if she really wanted to wear the entire suite. Since it's Maxima, we know she is going to wear the entire suite, as is, and that is fine. Her hair looks fabulous as well.

  23. Stunning jewellery! Not loving the gown. Might have liked it better if the backing material matched the lace...

  25. Maxima is gorgeous. The dress is perfect from the way it falls down her body to the color and the jewels she chose match the dress perfectly. She seems to be enjoying herself on this trip and when she smiles her whole body reacts in a positive manner.

  26. Perfection! And lovely hair two days in a row, too. I think the gown and jewels couldn't be better abd she displays them very well. In the first photo the lighting is atrocious!

  27. Perfect Perfection! I can't stop saying, that this is fabulous!
Maxima really knows how to do it, we saw so much great looks at black tie/ white tie-occasions, state dinners and so on.
The dress is really great, her hairstyle is great, makeup fantastic, jewels look perfect!

I also like the dress of the presidents wife, it's a very nice dress with this lace and the colour is my all-time-favourite colour
