Swedish Queen Silvia hosted a Lunch at Haga Palace in Solna

On May 16, 2019, Queen Silvia of Sweden hosted a lunch at Haga Palace for Queen Sofia of Spain and Princess Takamado of Japan, who are currently in Stockholm for Dementia Forum X 2019. Crown Princess Victoria attended the dinner at Haga Palace too. Haga Palace (Haga slott), formerly known as the Queen's Pavilion (Drottningens paviljong), is located in the Haga Park, Solna Municipality in Metropolitan Stockholm.

Wow, Victoria's dress and hair make her look older and more old-fashioned than the three ladies who are actually much older than she. The jacket/pants look on Sofia and Silvia are very nice looking. I cannot understand why a young, pretty woman like Victoria chooses to look the way she does.

I see she didn't have time to change from the Board Meeting.

Wow, I love Victoria's dress and hair, professional, modern, bright colors for a lovely spring day.

CP Victoria is not into fashion and we have to accept this, that is all.

But isn't her dress just one more example of contemporary fashion -- from & other stories...?

Well when she gets it right she can be spectacular. She is a beautiful lady with great hair, an incredible body and a smile that lights up a room. I just wish she had her mothers sense of style.

  4. These dresses and this hairstyle are her uniform of choice. There is nothing else to be said. It is one disappoint after the next, with a rare surprise a few times a year to keep us on our toes. I still have hope for the future though!

Royals are no celeberties they should not dress or act like one. Their work is more important and delicate. Just because they have the means they don't need to flaunt them. The Royal ladies look just fine. The Ladies shine by what the do and their dedication.

And they haven't invited Princess Sofia to lunch? She attended the day before.

Yeah I thought that was odd too.

  8. I don’t know why mid-length is so popular now. This length isn‘t dressy for any woman, especially not with high heels. These clothes can be worn well on the beach , barefoot or with flats .
Nevertheless - it‘s always nice to see Victoria.

Queen Silvia and the former Queen of Spain - they both look great.

  10. _Princess Takamado looks the best. The queens are fine. But Victoria! shapeless, matronly, just awful.
