  1. I can't not like Eugenie's WWII-era retro look; she's adorable. (The height of the heels may not be period authentic, but the York sisters rock stilettos so an exception can be made :-)

Her Majesty has been doing some rocking of her own -- with color. Love her in the baby pink.

  2. The Queen---just perfection as usual. I was going to say that I really like Beatrice's dress until I saw the tiered skirt which ruined it for me. Nice pattern and the colours really suit the Princess but these ruffles---yuck. Like hat, bag and shoes, though. Princess Eugenie's outfit is lovely, summery and elegant. It's great to see the grandchildren and cousins supporting the Queen at these events.

  3. I think Beatrice looks very well in this floral dress. The colors suit her and the style is feminine and shows her figure. Eugenie also looks good in the neutral dress but a little color in jewelry or an accessory would have been welcome.

    1. Yes Beatrice's is nice, a relief among all the other ones we have seen so often.

  7. One of the very best outfits Beatrice has ever had. Eugenie´s dress is lovely but the hat ruins impression. Queen looks also lovely.

  9. oh this garden partys seem to be very nice events.
The queen just looks fantastic. This is a very lovely colour that suits her well and I like the deco at the hat a lot.

Eugenie and Beatrice look really nice, so sad, that they have so often a bad taste for fashion.
The duchess of Gloucester looks fantastic, too!

  10. Don't like the way Eugenie wears her kokoshnik headpiece (too close to her forhead), Beatrice's looks much better!

  11. To me, Eugenie looks matronly in that dress, and Beatrice frumpy in hers.

    My thoughts exactly.
Both B and E look lovely from head to toe, and E should have worn her head piece a little further back like B did.

The Queen looks fantastic as always (that pink umbrella!) and so do the other Royal ladies, especially the Duchess of Gloucester. Princess Michael has toned down a lot from her flamboyant hats and style.

I liked the photo of the Queen and another lady in a dark blue hat speaking to one of the honoured guests in a wheelchair (I know who she is but forget her name) - all three of them look very elegant.

The queen in pale pink looked extremely lovely as did the Duchess of Gloucester. The sisters looked frumpy, and who wears those extreme heels to walk around in the grass, not a good choice at all in my opinion. The head band on Eugenie was not seated correctly on her head, made it look very odd as did the very plain 'house dress style.'

  14. Why does never prins Andrew attend any official events?

    1. Andrew did last year alone 409 official royal events. This blog is about fashion and that is why we very seldom see Andrew.

All the Royal ladies look good. Nothing to say about the Q she is always on target. Great Lady.Pss. Eugene's dress is very light needs a little color OMO. I like Pss. Beatrice flower dress but a few to many ruffles. Pss Michael of Kent wears pale pink too very lovely, hope everyone had a nice time.

Let’s not have double standards. If Kate wore the exact same outfit as Bea, we would all be in awe. Kate wears the same heels on grass. But I have to agree that Eugenie has the wrong placement on her headband and that she looks a little washed out.

This is about one's personal opinion of fashion, and what is worn. I am glad you voiced your opinion, just does not happen to be the same one I have. Each to their own, and btw, this is not about Catherine, it is about the women who were at the Garden Party.

What ever happened to the argument that Andrew's daughters should not be on the royal list? There are too many royals at this party and God knows who paid for their clothes, hats, and accessories. Overkill.
