Princess Benedikte's visit to UN City and UNICEF warehouse

On, March 5, 2019, Danish Princess Benedikte visited UN City and UNICEF warehouse in Copenhagen. The Princess was welcomed by Executive Director of UNOPS and UN Under-Secretary-General, Grete Faremo, when she arrived at UN City. During the visit, the Princess received information about the 11 UN agencies located in UN City and the work being carried out at the UNICEF warehouse in Copenhagen.

In UN City, Princess Benedikte met with heads of the UN agencies to discuss their work, health-related activities, gender equality and The Sustainable Development Goals. During the visit, the Princess also toured the building with the guidance of Camilla Brückner, director of UNDPs Nordic Office, and Lars Peter Schaumburg-Levy, head of the UN City Communications Office.

At the UNICEF warehouse, the Princess was welcomed by Director of UNICEF Supply Division Etleva Kadilli. During the visit, Princess Benedikte received information about some of the essential supplies for children that are send out every day from the warehouse such as medical care, school materials and hygiene kit. The UNICEF warehouse in Copenhagen is the largest humanitarian warehouse in the world.

  2. Nice! I love the black cape with the fur, very elegant and stylish. She styled the look very well, together with the black stockings and pumps. The colours match good too.

  4. To me, the skirt and jacket are discordant - two different ideas clashing. The jacket is formal, the skirt is rather carefree with that pattern.
