  1. Overall, a pared-down, elegant look that works well on a very slender frame like Letizia's. The skirt would have been better with one more button so as to "gap" less when the wearer is striding along -- but other than that, it is a great wardrobe item that can be either dressed up or dressed down, and it looks wonderful with the boots. The top certainly isn't made for photo ops where flashbulbs are in use -- maybe a nice blouse would have been better.

  4. Not a big fan of seeing white undergarments under black clothing.
Otherwise, she looks as professional and beautiful as always.

  5. what a great skirt and well combined with the boots, but it's so difficult to get past those pictures of the bra showing. This has happened to me once with the flashes, although not that much, but how can she not noticed this? I find it hard to believe that it's a fashion statement. I feel for her, the Spanish blogs are shredding her to pieces today.

  9. Royalty fan

It happened to Victoria also a few years ago, and after a while she went to [the cloakroom?] to hang a jacket over her shoulders

  10. The skirt is gorgeous and using black as the base for the outfit is a good idea and provides a stark contrast that works. Those boots have my respect. In the group shot, everyone is wearing shades of brown so this must have been pre arranged. It is unfortunate that the fine gauge of the sweater turned out to be transparent with the flashes. Most of the more serious press used the picture at the podium where the sweater is opaque. The more frivolous ones ran with the ones taken with schoolboy glee from every angle so that the readers can have a field day tearing her to pieces as Cherry B. says. No where do they mention where care givers who suffer along with the patients can seek help, or give numbers where volunteers can sign up, or encourage people to have their annual checkup to aid early detection. It gives the impression of a callous disregard for the lives of others. The comments heard from these men when there is audio would be disrespectful to any woman. A serious day featuring the hard work of researchers, hijacked by a white bra. Apologies for the rant, but watching someone be consumed by the disease is very difficult.

    1. It was a problem with the cameras, the sweater is not transparent at normal light. The same it happened at discos in the 70s.

  12. Los flashes hicieron una broma pesada. Aún así, la combinación del color tabaco y el negro es estupenda y la falda muy bonita. Excelente maquillaje suave y un cabello brillante y bien cuidado. Bravo, Letizia, gran trabajo con la AECC.

  14. I love the combination of color and those boots... ohhh those boots look perfect here!
I saw other pictures here no one notice the sweater turned out to be transparent with the flashes, and as someone said before and I hope she don't mind that I copy her; "A serious day featuring the hard work of researchers, hijacked by a white bra."
