Belgian Queen Mathilde's working visit to Mozambique, 2nd Day

As an Advocate for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Queen Mathilde is currently making a four day working visit to Mozambique. On the second day of her visit, on February 5, 2019, Queen Mathilde visited a water desalination project 'Water Gaza' in DzinDzine. Afterwards, The Queen visited the district hospital of Chokwe, and "UNWOMEN" farmers group in Chinhacanine. At the end of the day, The Queen attended a meeting with female victims of sexual violence in Canicado.

  1. It is such a sensitive gesture to wear the print of the legendary bird Phoenix, who rises from his own ashes, for the meetings with the victims of violence and abuse. This is that kind of narrative that fashion can help get across with subtlety like nothing else. Bravo, Queen Mathilde!

    1. I agree, she is quite the ambassador! I wish on that bird print dress that the bodice back was as is shown on the model. It is a very pretty print otherwise, but the misplaced birds look odd.
