  1. Schöne Sophie.
Nun, man kann auf den Bildern leider ihre Kleidung nicht so ganz genau sehen, aber ihren Mantel finde ich schon mal super.

  2. Does anybody know what C. Sophie's husband, Prince Edward, is doing as he rarely seems to be out and about?

    1. I believe he has a company something that has to do with TV.

    2. Just this week alone he has one engagement on Monday and on Tuesday. Then he has two engagements on Wednesday and three on Thursday. He and Princess Anne are the busiest English royals. But they do not get the coverage of others.

    5. He h no longer has the TV company and has not had for many years. Apart from any other duties, he does a lot of work for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme. Love our elegant Countess's coat, with dark sweater and boots. I'm not sure of what I can see of the skirt.

    6. Thank you Anon 12:37. I completely agree that he and Anne's contributions are ignored most of the time. I would also add that he has not been involved in the the production company for over 15 years. He stepped down as Director of Ardent Productions in 2002 and the company was actually liquidated in 2009. He stepped down to take on more royal duties and since the Duke of Edinburgh has retired from many of his duties, Edward has stepped into many of those roles.

    2. I think the princes are out and about just as much as their wives. They often do engagements separately from their wives which just don't get as much media attention.

  9. Sophie is always so easy going with a happy outlook;a good asset to the royal family.Prince Edward is a good ambassador around the world for The Duke of Edinburgh award;as he will one day take on the title of Duke of Edinburgh. They are the only Royals in Charles's era not divorced.

Yes, but they were lucky to be allowed to share a bedroom, even under the queen's nose. So I do believe, they could've gotten to know each other very well, and had time to really consider, if they're meant for each other. Where Diana, Fergie, and other royal couples DIDN"T had that 'opportunity. I read this long ago when they were more or less, engaged at the time
