Flowers everywhere, too much for me. Ladies in black look much more elegant.

    1. Although I normally like flower prints, this is too much. Probably because both of them wear this kind of print. The ladies in black are more elegant!

Madeleine wore black dress for this event last year, and then there were comments that black is not a good color for her :D

    3. Anon 12:50 I was thinking the same thing. Complaints for wearing black, complaints for not wearing black.

    1. I agree, I think it’s the best she’s looked in a while. She has slimmed down, her hair looks healthy and face looks fresh and beautiful.

  8. These two dresses while lovely, look more like at home hostess dresses to me. It is apparent that both women are delighted to have this occasion to see each other.

I must say Q Silvia looks her fantastic self. Madeleine's dress looks nice but way to many flowers. Pic 1 and 6 the ladies look good. Great event worthy cause.

Silvia looks very beautiful in these pictures. Her dress is nice, but I think it's her hair that really makes her look stunning.
    I don't like Madeleine's dress.

I too like both ladies and both dresses. They both wear them very, very well and therefore look good in them, flowers or not. Madeleine is stunning. A very beautiful woman, and always has been.

  14. I am a great fan of both Queen Silvia & Princess Madeleine. Their day outfits for this event were great but both evening dresses far too fussy for me. Don't think either dress is flattering for the wearer sadly.

Lady in black...very pretty and cheerful with those flowers. Madeleine looks so tall and slim. Stunning woman.
Queen Silvia will be 75 but just look at her. She looks so youthful and pretty. Pink looks good on her.

  19. Both Sylvia and Madeleine look lovely. Their hairstyles are perfection. However, I must say that I am not a fan of the current trend of floral fabrics. Far too many flowers from top to bottom. A matter of personal preference, of course.
