  1. The Queen looks lovely but I don’t care for the choice of hat with a cocktail style dress. They are a winning team together!

  2. She looks fresh and young and beautiful. Purple has a great effect on her, so it seems. Like the combi of the dress and the hat.

  3. She looks great again - she seems to into these dresses with a slightly longer hem than the underskirt. Love her hat.

  4. I love her dress, her hair, clutch and shoes, but not the hat.

  5. Very nice outfit and her trademark big rimmed hat. Her earrings are nice too.

  6. Lovely color for a cocktail dress/shoes, however, she's not at a cocktail party. Would a pant suit in the same color, with some of her 'bug pins' have looked just as fetching, and not so 'over the top?'

    1. A pant suit would never match a dress. There are very few women who look good in them---business like yes but elegant no! Queen Letizia is one who can look good but she is small in height and stick thin which help. However, Maxima could have chosen a less party style fabric and still looked good. Please keep with the hats!

  9. Maxima seems a bit overdressed for the venue, but then again she often does. I do not care so much for the shorter under dress, but the colour suits her perfectly.
