The opening of the Danish Parliament is the beginning of the new legislative year and it takes place on the first Tuesday of October every year. |

Not Mary's best look, just something strange about that style of jacket with this skirt. Really like Marie's white coat. Margrethe very pretty in the lavender dress/jacket.

حذفRealize this is a fashion site, so probably not place to ask....but I too have wondered about their lack of interaction. Hope there is not jealousy or envy on either side. Both ladies are lovely, have a nice sense of fashion and have great families. Would like to think they could be friends...
حذفI suggest you watch the video of their arrival. You can see there that they actually interact and at one point Mary approached Marie and they talked.

I think Pss Marie's white coat is a bit out of place. CP Mary's outfit looks very nice but I think it is more for a younger women.The fall color for the Queens sister is perfect so is the Queens blue 2 piece dress.

ردحذفThe Queen and Princess Benedikte are dressed very well. CP Mary and Princess Marie look nice and appropriate. I wish both of them would dare to wear more interesting hats, especially CP Mary who has been a royal longer. She plays it very safe with hats and often wears the same ones.
