  1. Lovely to see Princess Alexandra with the Queen.

  2. Sophie looks fantastic as does Camilla, and I like the powdery blue colour of the Queen' s outfit.

The pattern of Autumn Phillips coat looks pretty. I don't like Anne's outfit at all even if she does have a great figure.

    1. What the heck is that brown thingy on Anne's jacket? And Autumn's coat/dress is just plain ugly.

The Queen is smiling, maybe her horse won.If yes good for her. The Queen looks lovely in pale blue, but so do all the other Ladies.

More beautiful clothes and hats at Ascot Day 2.

Favourite hat today by a mile is Sophie's. Beautiful softer, rounder, summery feel to it instead of the stiff formality that's usually on display, and she looks extremely beautiful wearing it. Really like the colour of her outfit and hat, but don't care for the black criss-cross bands on the sleeves. It doesn't correlate to anything else on the dress that we can see. But I like the outfit even more because it looks like a dress despite being a jumpsuit.

Princess Alexandra looks smashing and regal, and I prefer the Queens pale blue and shocking pink ensemble combo to yesterdays yellow. Princess Anne also looks good (better photos in other blogs), and so do both Camilla and Autumn Phillips, with eye-catching head gear.

  5. Love Autumn Phillips hat and outfit! Beautiful colors and she wears them well. Sophie’s ensemble is also stunning; colors and style!

    1. Je suis d'accord que l'ensemble de Sophie est très joli mais, on ne peut pas dire qu'elle soit particulièrement souriante!

Loved seeing Princess Alexandra and Countess Sophie. The teal color is beautiful on Sophie. Her dress is classic and the sleeves give it an extra style, all with the matching hat, wow. It is definitely one of my favorite looks for her.
The opposite I would say for Autumn. Her dress is too busy and those white sea urchin looking things, not pretty.

  9. It's too bad some of the ladies have to wear those ghastly name tags.

  10. I don't like Sophie's outfit very much, especially the crossed straps on the sleeve. Princess Anne is out of the game :), Camilla looks fantastic for her age, she just found her style. Although she could change her necklace sometimes ;). Autumn Phillips - I like her very much, because she usually doesn't draw attention to herself.

  11. I'm writing this in a nice tone of voice, but I am getting confused about the weather in the UK and Europe. There are a lot of long sleeved outfits and then Sophie looks hot, as in uncomfortable. My monitor is picking up a more aquamarine hue in her outfit and its pretty. Everyone looks nice. Camilla's dress appears here a different shade than at the garden party, interesting. I am curious about the pink dress w/the black design, guess that's a regular guest and not a Royal.

    1. Well, it's still quite chilly in the mornings but warmer later on. Today is cooler with a breeze. I still think it's not quite cool enough in the middle of the day for a coat - but Her Majesty clearly disagrees. :-)

I also like Sophie's outfit (minus the sleeve detail), and especially her hat the best.
I posted a complimentary note almost 12 hours ago but it hasn't been posted above. I don't know why.

    1. I like Sophie's outfit too, and agree that removing the sleeve detail on the dress would improve it. Doing that one thing would, imo, take it into the sartorial stratosphere! 😊

  13. The Ascotte Gavotte:-) On pic 6 the CoW Sophie reminds me of the Dowager Duchess from one of the minor houses. Like Autumns look best.

  14. IMO Sophie needs a new bra. When some ladies reach a certain age it s time to get more support, if you know what I mean..............
For example someone who always dresses well but in need of more 'support' is our queen Silvia is one of them.

  15. The guest in the pink dress that caught my eye might be Lady Vestey, or whomever is with her. I sometimes go offline around the weekend, so let me just give my compliments now to the Queen's milliner who always comes up with great hats for Royal Ascot.
