  1. La Rioja is a beautiful land of wineyards, friendly people and villages and small towns full of history. The first words in a spanish vernacular romance language, dating back to the XI century, were recorded here. I wish the Belgian Royal family a happy stay in that region of my lovely country.

  3. Están recorriendo un tramo del Camino de Santiago, siguiendo la Ruta Navarra. No es la primera vez que lo hacen.

  5. My husband and I walked the Camino through The Rioja at the same time. It was a pleasure to share the Camino and all its beauty with many pilgrims including the Belgian Royal Family. What a wonderful experience!
