Queen Margrethe attended opening of 'Queen's Wardrobe' exhibition

On March 27, 2018, Queen Margrethe attended opening of "Fra Dronningens Garderobe" special exhibition in the Old Town of Aarhus. The exhibition includes a part of Queen's wardrobe through time. At the exhibition, dresses, hats, casual clothes, national costumes and party outfits worn by the Queen from 1940s until today are exhibited. Totally 37 dresses, 42 hats and shoes are shown at the exhibition.

    What a shame, that I cannot have a glimpse on HM wardrobe. Beautiful gowns and the traditional costume from Greenland, so lovely.

    Such beautiful gowns. We can only imagine Margrethe’s thoughts of weddings and state dinners as she views them. I have watched interviews and read some of her writings to discover that she is a very intelligent and thoughtful person. Wish her well.

    Queen Margrethe's dresses are beautiful haute couture …… trés èlègant! She always looks 'very majestic' in gala, but her everyday wardrobe style I'm mostly not an admirer of!!
